Our group of 16 had several wonderful table service lunches last week. We enjoyed the following:
1. Biergarten: we had two tables of 8 next to each other and everyone thought the food was excellent, service was excellent and everyone (including the elementary age kids) really enjoyed the music/entertainment. Highly recommend.
2. Hollywood & Vine: we had two tables in the same area of the restaurant. We all said our food was great, service was great and we lucked out that the characters started giving hugs and autographs the week of our visit; so the kids loved character visits and photos at our tables (the 3 year old was so so so excited to see Minnie Mouse). Highly recommend.
3. Cinderellas Royal Table (breakfast). 3 of our 4 tables were in the same area of restaurant. They insisted the one ADR time was more than 15 minutes from the others and had to be seated early and separately. Breakfast food was okay. Enjoyed seeing the inside of the castle and having photos and hugs with Cinderella before being seated. Kids also enjoyed the swords/wands they took as leaving breakfast. Servers were great! Expensive breakfast, but got to eat inside the castle; so I'd recommend for experience and service. Better breakfast food is available elsewhere.
4.Storybook Dining at Artist Point: we were again seated at 2 tables for 8 close to each other. Food, service, atmosphere was excellent. We were in the back so couldn't see the dancing or characters entering the room, but characters came around to tables for photos and autographs (Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy) and we were given a time during meal (before dessert) to go up to visit the Evil Queen. Children had the cutest appetizer there! Entree portions were large. Desserts were unique. Highly recommend.
5. Space220 (lunch): We all loved this restaurant also. Two tables of 8 next to each other. The atmosphere was great! Kids and adults enjoyed watching things float by and the elevator up/down. Service was great. Food was good but not great.
The above meals were the highlight of our trip for our extended family of 16.
The only table service meal we didn't really enjoy was Skipper Canteen: food portions were small and not very good. They didn't seem to have enough servers so service was slow.
