We are missing 1 reservation for our next trip in September. Any advice on where to eat a table service (1 credit), in hotels or in Downtown Disney. Because the kids are not comming with us (first time), I'd rather avoid characters meals.

The top 3 meals we ate in January were
1- Rainforest Cafe (Filet was awesome)
2- T-Rex (Filet & ribs to die for)
and 3- Cape May Cafe..their all you can eat enjoy crab legs were delish!

In the DTD area we enjoy:
Raglan Road - we go there at least once every trip. I have heard mixed reviews but we have always had good food and in some cases exceptional.
We also enjoy the Turf Club at SSR. Depending on the weather you can eat outside. Food has been good. Fairly standard menu.

We also enjoy Saana at AKV. Food has always been good and if you go during the daylight you can wach the animals. (If you enjoy tea they have great loose leaf tea selection.) While Boma has interesting selections I would take Saana over Boma any day. Much more relaxing experience. (I am not a buffet fan.)

We always eat at Raglan Road as well - LOVE it! The chef is great and we've always had exceptional service - and the food is fabulous! I love the atmosphere - and the only people I've heard complain about it aren't Canadian :rotfl2:
