Table Decorations

I know you can pay Disney to decorate the table for you with flowers and candles etc but are you allowed to do it yourself with items you bring with you?

I'm not sure, but I will guess and say they won't let you decorate the tables yourself. Especially if it is in a location that you need to be escorted to.

You can bring your own decorations for them to set up though. You will leave them at Francks a day or two before the wedding, and they will put them out. They will charge you if you bring more items then X amount (honestly I can't remember the amount, plus they have changed it since I signed the contract).

brought my own table centers and candles (I even brought my own table dec for the WP)

I was told that Disney will not put your centrepeices on the tables for you (I had my reception at the whitehall room) They will put out you favors Max of 2 per person.

I was told I just had to pick someone to put them out for me, or I could put them out myself.

In the end I chose to put them out myself(as you get to go into your reception room before your guests)
I did take them to Francks the day before and disney placed them in the room ready to put out.

I am SO glad I did this...it saved me a fortune, not only did I get to keep my centerpeices but they where the perfect look I was after. I was very lucky and someone at Disney did put my centerpeices out (think someone made a mistake) but it still would have only have taken me a couple of seconds to do.

I think you can have someone do it for you. We saw 2 receptions at Ariel's last January, where some female relatives were putting out centerpieces before the reception.

I dont have any pictures that I would know how to put on here but they where basically (this is the only way I can think to describe it) cake stand with a glass tube around it (like a vase with a posh stand) I then filled it with coffee beans and put a big church candle inside.

My theme colors where coffee and cream so this worked perfectly and smelt amazing.

You can always change the coffee beans for colored pebbles or something along those lines to match your colors.

If you are bringing your own table decs, which I highly recommend to save you money if nothing else, then just make sure they are completely ready and dont need any touching up so that they are simple to put on your table, not sure if I would recommend doing your own real flowers as im not sure wether Disney would store them in a cool enough place for you.

I loved doing my table decs and when my guests (and the disney cast) complemented them I really could say I made them, Im not very creative so this was a big deal for me!!!
