We leave this afternoon and I am sooooooooooo excited! Was up earlier than normal for a weekday (DH is off so his alarm wasn't set and I got up before it would usually go off, he was not a happy camper...)
I am going to miss this board and all you WONDERFUL WISHers! Everyone stick to your program!!! Exercise as much as you can, especially if you are blessed with nice weather. No beating yourself up allowed (while I am gone and when I get back, that is a big no-no!) Look for ways to appreciate yourself and all that you have done! Celebrate every little step of the way!!! Do nice things for yourself!
Hopefully when I get back there will be lots more before and after pictures (even if you all decide to become headless like a certain DISer we won't mention...)
When we were first planning this vacation, I was really looking forward to chowing down on so many things. However, my attitude towards food has really changed and now I am really focusing on enjoying time with my family and doing some hiking in the scenic areas rather than just eating scones with jam and cream and drinking tea until I drop.
It's my goal to maintain, and fortunately, we will walk every where, nearly every day, so that should help me meet my exercise quota!
Thanks to everyone for helping me get in shape and lose weight before this trip! It was my goal to hit 145 by today and I weighed in at 142.25 this morning. WOW!
Sometimes it feels like a dream. I noticed in the car yesterday that me, my mother and my sister fit in the back seat together and I didn't feel like I was all squashed up for once! Hopefully 8-9 hours on a plane will feel better this time than last year!
Oh, and we missed the Queen by a couple of days. Apparently she was in Sheffield yesterday, which is where we will be tomorrow. RATS! I would have loved a chance to see her and that wave.
