The Crew
Tony ……………….Driver and general gofer
Theresa…………….Scrapbook shopper extraordinaire
Peggy (my mum)…..I’ll go on anything as long as it’s not upside down or has big drops .
Zena (my aunt)…….Ditto
We arrived at Epcot at 8.50 and I headed straight for Soarin’ and got fast passes.
I then met the others at The Seas where we did the Nemo ride before having a jolly good natter with Crush. This was different to last time and the refurbishment means you have something to do while you are waiting for your turn.
It was great fun as usual and a clever use of technology. We then went to use our fast passes and I asked if we could be on the top row. Mum has a real fear of heights and I have had to hold her hand just to get her to go up a set of steps at the local train station to cross to the other side of the tracks before. I told her she would be on a ride that simulates a hang-glider but she would actually only be about 6ft off the ground. She loved the ride and said afterwards, “was I only 6 feet of the ground?” I said no Mum, about twenty six! She said she didn’t care , it was brilliant and it was the second best thing of the whole holiday, after the dolphin swim. Both she and Zena said this. It was also the only ride they both wished we had had time to do again during the holiday.
We then did Living with the Land before grabbing a coffee in the food court. Next up was Honey I Shrunk the Audience which had them both screaming and laughing at the same time when the mice were running around their ankles.
Next I have to admit to being a really bad, bad son……………………………….............. I made them both try the Beverley and didn’t warn them, just took the pictures.
We had a wander through the beautiful flowers as it was the Flower and Garden Festival. It really is a lovely time of year to visit.
We then went to Canada as we had a 1.00 ADR at Le Cellier.
OK, we have not had a lot of luck with the meals this trip, so why should we have expected Le Cellier to be any different?
You come to expect great things from Disney and when you get them you expect them to continue. Well, the last meal we had here in November was excellent. However, this one was not. Mum’s steak was not well done and Theresa found a piece of stick in her prime rib sandwich! Had she not cut it in half she would have bitten into it. We reported it to the server straight away as we were worried someone else may have had more of the stick in theirs and not been lucky enough to find it. The Manager came over and apologised, took the meal off the bill and assured us the rest of the batch was getting a thorough inspection. We didn’t get free desserts this time though!
After lunch we made our way around the world looking at all the lovely flower displays.
I think they were hoping for a little Viking action.
Yes she caught the lot!!!!
Her lucky day.( Theresa let her off with a warning!!!!!!!)
After circumnavigating the world showcase we did Spaceship Earth before leaving the park well and truly worn out.
We decided on an early tea at the IHOP on the way home. Zena and I had an omelette and Mum went for the burger while Theresa wasn’t really hungry so had cheese sticks and a dip. The omelettes were huge and we couldn’t finish them, they were really tasty though and I’d recommend them if you’re hungry.
After tea we went back to the condo, had a cup of tea and started the arduous task of packing.
With all the stuff we buy it always takes us several goes.

.I also have this planned for dh+our girls,and i am not saying a word
,can't wait to see there faces .You are deffinatley not having much luck with the food.I have to agree with you about the omelettes at IHOP they are lovely+very filling.x.
