Where do you all get your t shirts? I was wondering about ordering on line but wondered if anyone had a store that they got them at where they reasonably priced. I have so many that I want to make I am afraid to start buying the shirts, dh may have a stroke, just kidding. I ordered new transfer paper from HP with the buy one get one free, I got 2 packs of each.
Thanks
Dean

Walmart!!! $5.50 each or got a few for DH from Target...on sale for $6 (I find the mens from Target...the Cherokee Brand does better when you wash it. It doesn't shrink as bad as the Hanes from Wal-mart)

I have bought some from Michael's (craft store) $3.99 each.

I got some from Michael's too. I got mine 2 weeks ago and they were having a sale $2.99 each :woohoo: . I have also gotten some at Walmart. They had some plain ones in a variety of colors with a little puff on the sleeve that I got for my DD. They were on sale/clearance for $3.50.:thumbsup2

If you are just buying a few, than buying retail works just fine.

But if you are buying A LOT, I would definently buy online - they are so much cheaper, even when you add in the shipping (if you are buying plenty). Try jiffyshirts.com Last year I was buying about 50 shirts and I saved a ton buying them online.

I really depends how many you need.

Thanks,
I have used the ones from Michaels before, the problem I would have with ordering a large quantity on line would be I would need so many different sizes. Would you have to order all of one size or can you mix them up?

You order them all individually - you pick the brand, colors, sizes one by one. It is a great place to get the same color shirts for both adults and children. That is why I went with them.

I just went to Target and got tshirts for DD6 & DS14 for $3.00 each in the boys section. I had to pay $5.00 each for size 24 months for the baby.

I just picked up a bunch of Hanes black shirts & blue shirts from our local dollar store for the little boys.

What brand of t-shirts do you prefer? I don't want something that is going to shrink or wrinkle really bad. I am 'Pooh' sized (but losing!) so I will probably need a 2x but maybe only an XL by the trip.

I am not sure about Hanes and was hoping for some other brand recommendations from the experts here! DH doesn't think I am going to be to do this! Need to show him that I have at least one small crafty bone in my body! :rotfl:

The word on the boards is that 100% cotton holds transfers better than a blend so I bought all 100% cotton and found them to be true to size after washing in warm water & detergent then drying on permanent press. Bought mine from www.shirtsupplier.com. Bought about 30 shirts, from kids size 6 to adult XL in 2 shades of yellow, grey, fuchsia, lime green, etc. Mixed and matched. Bought 2 extra for "practicing." ;) Mixed & matched brand names too - Gildan, Hanes (no tag) depending on who had the shade of the color I wanted!

Thank you. I was looking at the Gildan colors. Was hoping that these shirts work well! :woohoo:

I love ordering from Jiffyshirts...they get them to me so fast. It's unbelievable...
