I made a Fort shirt for my hubby and he received soooooo many compliments on it. Even the CM's at the Fort asked if it was a new Fort clothing line... haha could have made some $$$ hehe
Found the graphic during a Google image search and used the dark shirt iron on transfers, simple but very cool. Attached a photo of the hubby wearing it....

Here is the version my family wore on a trip last year. We used a design from the thread 2goofycampers linked above.

Walmart sells some by Avery that you just put through a color printer. Very easy to print from the computer, then iron on following the instructions on the package. I think Joanns sells some too.
I know this is going to be a dumb question, but how do ya'll get the designs and colors onto the iron-on? I'm not exactly domesticated in regards to things like that.![]()
How do you get these to iron on so perfectly? I made some last year that were a disaster. Wouldn't transfer off, images cracked and peeled during the event. Never tried to wash them, just threw them away. We wore them to MNSSHP and our "costumes" were all almost before we got an hour into the partyI made a Fort shirt for my hubby and he received soooooo many compliments on it. I'll give ato these transfers at www.amymickey.com - they are great and she's on the disboards. With these you don't need to do any rotating, etc... just pop in your printer and you're ready to go. They wash great too.
If you go on CreativeDisigns board and type in "Fort Wilderness" you'll get some designs on there too.
I used the avery ones for "dark shirts". The light shirt transfers tended to crack and not completely transfer, faded after a wash or two.. didn't like them at all!! I did the dark shirt ones (even on lighter shirts too) and trimmed really close to the image so you never noticed it wasn't part of the shirt. Iron one was easy and I have washed the above shirt at least 30 times and it still looks just as good as the day I did it....
We also used the dark shirt transfers, and 2 years later the shirts still look like new.I used the avery ones for "dark shirts". Thanks for the info. I didn't use the dark shirts one. I will have to try these sometime. Do they also have to be for "stretchable" fabric?
Thanks again.
