You know... after 2+ hours of looking online, I'll take any recommendations, budget or not! I am going to travel to europe for almost 2 weeks, with my college aged son and a (female) friend of ours. I am busty, and for more modesty, I am looking for some pj's that have a built-in bra, shelf bra, or at a minimum non-see through. I would like a t-shirt style, not button-down nor a cami, and some capri-length pants.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you so much in advance!

Karen

I've never seen any pj's with a built-in bra, but my DD is also very busty and is not comfortable walking around the house without some sort of "coverage" once she puts her pj's on. She had even taken to wearing her underwire bras to bed, which must have been very uncomfortable!! I found some very lightweight sports-type bras at JC Penney on clearance and she loves them! They are actually sold as "sleep bras". They are soft and comfortable enough for her to sleep in, but they are tight enough and opaque enough for her to feel comfortable with them under her lightweight pj's. And...they were cheap: $10 for two! Here's a link:

If you feel like you need more support than that, maybe just a regular, softer version of a sports bra...?

Good luck!

I'm a plus size and I get what you are saying but you may have to layer - any built in bra shirts I've ever seen were workout, yoga or at least cami's. You could get a light fabric or wick fabric cami/workout/yoga top with a bra for comfort, modesty and not make you sweat too much and throw a T-shirt over it to cover up?

Good luck and enjoy Europe!!!

Cool - sleep bra? I might have to look for those in Canada :-)

I used sleep bras when I was nursing, and still have them in my drawer for when we have/are overnight company.

I don't have a suggestion on a particular garment, but one thing I have noticed is that a dark color like navy or black with a small print does a LOT of camoflaging, even more if the fabric has some texture to it.

May I recommend you try The Barely There bra. It is so comfy you can sleep in it! This way you can buy any comfy pj's you want.

I second the Barely There recommendation. That is what I wear if I am lounging in pj's. Gives a little support and coverage but is comfortable. There are also other brands made of the same type fabric. I have the ones that you slip over your head - no hooks.

I've found that cheap sports bras (not quality enough to be really constricting and do what they are supposed to do!) are good to sleep in.

I have the answer for you!!! Not super budget, but I own several of her night shirts and Capri sets. I don't have this one WITH the self bra, but I do have a tank with shelf bra with pant set that I love!! Hope it helps!! Use ebates to save a bit on QVC. I have always been pretty busty and love her stuff. Great return policy too in case it doesn't work.

Havent looked in a while, but WalMart used to have night gowns with built in pads ( like bra padding). Not necessarily supportive, but great coverage in front :hippie:
