T-Shirt Recommendation - Transfers & Tie-Dye

I am thinking of ordering from Jiffy Shirts - these would be to make shirts for our Disney trip using transfers and also I may try some tie-dye mickey shirts.
Which shirts do you recommend me ordering for both?
I was thinking maybe the Gildan brand, but they have ultra cotton, heavy cotton and 50/50 blend. Which should I purchase?

Gildan 100% cotton 6.1 oz is what I used for our shirts

For the tie dye, make sure that you get the prepared for dye ones. They were out of DH size so I just ordered his plain white and the threads used to sew/hem it did not take the dye. Really not noticeable until you are close up. Tie dye definitely needs 100% cotton.

Any of those shirts would be good for the transfers. I know nothing about tye dye though. Your best bet is to look and/or ask on this thread...
