T-Rex or Coral Reef?

Okay, so my head has been set on Coral Reef since the first time I saw it. I think my 13 year old dd would LOVE Coral Reef. But, I've looked at the menu and I've read a lot of reviews and it just doesn't look all that great. It looks like it might be rather spendy (which is fine, I suppose), but it doesn't look like the menu would be that exciting for any of us. None of us are really fish eaters.

Sooo...with that in mind, I keep coming back to the T-Rex. Should I switch them out? Anyone eaten at both and had a strong preference one way or another???

Those in our party: MIL (65ish), FIL (65ish), DH (40), ME (38), DD (13), DS (4).

We ate at the T-Rex in Kansas City and they had great atmosphere, but the food was lacking. It was probably a glorified applebees at best in KC. So if you are going for the food in my opinion, i would choose elsewhere.

We had a GREAT time at the T-Rex in DTD last Jan. My 8 year old son LOVED the whole thing and so did hubby and I.
When we arrived the line was spilling out of the entrance and it looked as if we would need to wait hours! We had no reservations and were seated in 15 minutes. The whole experience was great. Great food, great atmosphere and DJ was our waiter. He really took my son under his wing and gave him a guided tour. Very FUN!!! I have never been to Coral Reef so cannot give an opinion about that!
