T-Rex any good?

Hey all, I was wondering if the T-Rex restaurant was any good. Anybody ate there? Thanks!

We've eaten there twice....last Wednesday night & this past January. Both times the food was good, but took a longggg time to arrive (seemed like an hour last week).

Both times, thank goodness, I'd also made a Priority Seating reservation. Thank goodness! The place was packed. Last Wed, the line was out the door.

If you're willing to yell your order to your waiter because it's so loud, it's an okay place to eat. Honestly the atmosphere makes me never want to return.

We were there the first week of June ('09). I have 2 boys (3 and 6) who are BIG dinosaur fanatics! They both LOVED the restaurant! My 9 year old daughter enjoyed it too! It is noisy because the dinos roar and move with the meteor shower that occurs every 20minutes. The atmosphere/decor is very neat, even just to take a walk around the restaurant. There is a 'Build-A-Dino' and gift shop in the front entrance, and also a fossil dig for the kids that was a hit with my kids as well. The food was good, portions decent size, and I don't remember it taking too long to get to the table, but we were looking around the restaurant, taking pictures, and talking while we were waiting. Be sure to make reservations in advance! They were not taking reservations before we went on our trip, but I just by chance called again while we were in FL and they had just started taking them and they had booked up quick! If you have dino fans, definitely stop by!

I have been many times. I recommend going for lunch instead of dinner and making advanced reservation. The chicken is fantastic. I think you can check for video on Youtube
