HELLO EVERYONE!! This is my first pre-trip report :cheer2:
As you can see by my title we are 33 days away from our next
Disney world vacation!!!! Time seems to be draggggging
ever since august started, so i've decided to pass the time
by sharing my pre trip story with you guys!!
Lets get on with the good stuf
f ::yes:: ....

:tinker:WHO'S GOING....

ME! My name is Keri.. I've been to WDW 7 times, this will make 8! :) I'm (along with my mom who we will talk about a little later)
the BIG planner. I spend tons of times on these boards reading, searching the different Disney websites listening to the disunplugged podcast
and reading Passporters (even buying the years we don't go )
I LOVE Disney. I wish we could go every year. Even multiple times a year sounds good to me, but every other year will have too do... for now!

Sam, my husband. He is also a pretty big Disney lover. The first time he went was when he was 8. His second was with me in 2008 for our Disney honeymoon! he was a little resistant to the idea, but said yes for me. He caught the Disney bug on that trip. SO this will be our 4th trip together. :lovestruc .Sam is the Oppisite of me. He is not a planner. Really other
then where we are staying and making sure we hit his favorite
restaurants he doesn't get involved in much of the details. Every night at dinner i fill him in on all the new info, just so he stays in the looop, who knows if he listens

DH and i not the best since we are both squinting, but it'll work :)

Just DH :) Do you know where he isss?

My DD, Jordan. She just turned 3 the beginning of the month and she LOVES LOVES LOVES Disney. Minnie is her favorite next is Sophia the first and then Izzy from Jake and the neverland pirates. This will be her second trip to the world. Not a day goes by that she doesnt ask how much longer, are we leaving today,or can we go now???

My DS, Chris who we will call Topher because he shares my dads name. Hes only a baby. he'll be under a year when we go, but i can tell already hes going to love all things disney, its in our blood.

My mom- The other planner. Liz, she's been to WDW a whole bunch as well. She and i probably don't go a day with out talking about our upcoming trip or really anything Disney related. She taught me all there is to know about planning a trip, and made me overly obsessed with the planning and packing and every last detail there is! Gotta love her.

My Dad, Chris. My dad and husband have a lot in common. They are both laid back, go with the flow take it all in type of guys. He loves all the magic of disney and even planned a surprise vow renewal for my mom at the poly in 2005. she had no idea! see it really is in the blood!!!

My Parents

Samantha, My younger sister. Like the rest of us loves Disney. She loves to her all the info, but i think loves it even more
that she doesn't have to plan it, just enjoys!!

Matthew, My younger brother. He is the most relaxed of us all. Tell him what time to be in the car ready to go
and he'll figure the rest out later.

Last , but not least my Grandma.. My moms mom. Shes a Disney enthusiast like the rest of us. She Loves adventures,
as long as its along the lines of its a small world nothing to crazy like space mountain :rotfl2:

Thats all of us!!! Theirs a lot of us, with tons of different interest, food and ride likes and dislikes, and the age gap is pretty big! BUT we all share one thing... Our love for disney. SO no matter what, we will get past the other stuff and find common ground on it alll..... BUT who knows how we'll get there ;).

I look forward to Sharing my PTR with everyone. Hope everyone continues to follow me here and on to my regular Trip report when the time comes :)

When are we going, Where are we staying??

This trip is the first trip my parents will make where they have no kids in school, and one of the last years before my kids start school. So when picking our dates we had a whole year to pick from.
We Normally go the last week in august because most of the country has gone back to school, we haven't yet and the crowds are lower. Going the same time every year you miss out on things. With us we would miss Tonssss Flower and garden, Food and wine, Halloween or Christmas decorations ect. We knew that this time we wanted to make sure we got some extra magic and go during one of these events. We narrowed it down to food and wine/Halloween time. Now keep in mind we booked our trip JULY 2012... SO we took a stab in the dark and picked my parents anniversary week, at the end of September. At least that's one guaranteed special event to mix things up a bit OR not because they celebrate their anniversary every time we are there ;)

On to the resort choice...

When we went in 2011 we decided that since we miss the excitement of events, we were going to stay at a different resort then normal. We picked CBR. It was a BEAUTIFUL resort. we Loved the beaches, the poool the hammocks and the landscaping One night my mom and i watched some fireworks from the beach outside of old port royal which was awesome.. We really didn't care for the food court or rooms. The whole trip we were all kind of wishing we had stayed at our favorite resort POR! I don't know what it was, but it just didn't hit us the same was as our fave. We had a great trip though and i can see why SO many people Love it.

Caribbean beach.. see how pretty...

With missing POR so much on our last trip you'd think that our resort choice would be easy peasy right? NOPE! When it was time to book we thought MAYBE we should stay somewhere else and continue our resort exploring...

Heres how the convo went....

Lets stay at AOA.

Brand new. we could get a family suite... PERFECT, which section?
CARS looks awesome...:dance3:

Wait no that wont fit us all :crowded: ...
OK TWO FAMILY SUITES::yes::!

BACK IT UP, FOR THAT PRICE WE CAN STAY AT A DELUXE!!!

ok ok AOA little mermaid rooms...

how many 2, nope wont fit us all sooo 3 rooms.... alrightyy,, FOR THAT PRICE WE CAN STAY AT A MODERATE.. :upsidedow

Back to the drawing board... To fit us all in one place we need to go deluxe , Or mod. the best choice for was obviously POR. what fun would it have been to not throw around the idea of staying someplace new..MAYBE NEXT TIME. :thumbsup2

Riverside :)

We Love everything about this resort. The rooms the landscape the boat to DTD, the food Court, Piano bob... the whole atmosphere is just perfect for us!

We got lucky enough to have Halloween in full swing, Food and wine and my parents anniversary while we are there. Lots of extra magic for us! We picked a goood 10days to be there. Then again is there really a bad 10 days? :)

Just a quick update... Today is our last day to customize our magic bands.... Sooooo we are hoping to receive them by the end of this week! Hurray. Can't wait to write a full update tomorrow. Keep reading pleaseee :)

I want to start by saying we are in the Teens :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

my excitement it starting to consume me!!!! I just can't wait to see my DD experience all of Disney!

On to the ADR's:

In my first post I told you guys how we booked our September 2013 trip in JULY 2012! Since we booked sooooo long ago we were waiting to see what promos would be available to us. Any discount is better then nothing, but we were hoping for free dining. We like food. We enjoy trying new things and going back to our old favorites. I know there are people out there who don't care for it, but we love it. We would be getting the dining plan either way. obviously having it for free saves us lots. Luckily we got it as we had hoped. :cheer2:

After much debating, fighting, picking, changing our minds, re-picking and then coming up with our final top 12 picks (a couple back ups) By the time our 180 mark came we had allll of our ADR's figured out. Here's what our Reservations look like....

Saturday- DH, DD,DS and i are checking in earlier then the rest of our party. Our ADR is at Wolfgang Puck cafe, just the 4 of us. We figure we can walk around soak in some Disney, eat and get back to the resort to relax for the next day :)

all our parks are not set in stone. we picked them like this for now because we go FP+ picks. These could all change.

Sunday- First Full day in the parks and we are having dinner in France... Chef De France to be exact. None of us have been here before so we are all excited!

Monday- Magic Kingdom day :) With the magic bands and FastPass+ we were able to get a FP+ for Be our guest Lunch.:thumbsup2 So excited for this. Love Beauty and the beast and another new one for us! our arrival window is 10:45-11:05. We picked an early lunch because we will be having dinner at 5:30 at Tony's town square. We have been here and we all enjoy it.

Tuesday- DHS! We didn't pick any restaurants here. we've been to them all and really didn't have one we all wanted to go to. So this day its back to Epcot for dinner in the UK at Rose & Crown Pub. Another one we haven't been too. My dad is realllyyyy looking forward to this one.

Wednesday- Water Park day. No ADR's for this day. we are just going to wing it...Using this day as our mid week relax day. :)

Thursday- AK/MK Since we didn't have an ADR yesterday 2 credits go to tonight's dinner at SPIRIT OF ALOHA! Another first time for us. We usually don't do 2 credit meals, but we've done a majority of the 1 credit dining and whatever we've missed we are filling in this trip SO SPIRIT IT IS!

Monday- its time to return home :( we will be around most of the early part of the dayy.... so i guess its quick service and relaxing for us.. where ever the win takes us before we head back on the ME!
