System Enhancement???? No PS RESSIES Til Later Today?

Uggh...My usual routine, I call at 4am AZ time.....

I get a message saying due to system enhancements they will be taking reservations LATER today? When later?

Anyone know when these system "enhancements" will be done today???

It also made mention that this system enhancement going to help with CRT....But CRT ressies will commence tomorrow (FRIDAY).

They just did a system enhancement on August 28. They didn't take CRT for a whole day after the enhancement and had the same message when you called in.

The only change that happened with that enhancement was full payment was required when booking dinner shows and Fantasmic packages. As far as I could tell, there was nothing changed to "help" CRT bookings.

Wonder what it is they are doing...

I just called and didn't hear anything on the recording about "enhancing CRT". Where did you hear that? Now, I am REALLY scared!!!

zulaya - how was calling in the day after "enhancements"? Was it really busy, or could you even tell the difference?

I didn't call in because I wasn't within 90 days yet. If I remember the posts that day though, there were longer than normal waits, which is logical when you have 2 days worth of people calling in.

I'm not even trying to make CRT ressies....I'm just trying to book my breakfast and dinner.

Anyone have any idea when taking reservations will resume?

How did people get a CM on the phone? I just heard a recording and dead silence??

I called Group Dining this morning right at 7:00 and got a CM right away. She told me they were not taking any PSs until tomorrow. Now I'm worried that they'll start taking them at some point this afternoon and I'll miss my chance at CRT!

I got the same message... I think it has something to do with taking CC payments for the Hoop De Doo... that was supposed to go into effect last week but the computers weren't ready for it yet... I read it somewhere on one of these threads.

I just checked and if you listen long enough it says that they will not take any CRT ressies until tomorrow at 7:00 am

Just called now (around 11:30 a.m. EST) and got a message about system enhancements and that they would be open later today. I didn't hear anything about CRT although I did hang up once it started talking about making same day PS other ways.

Sounds like it might have been a larger enhancement. The PS# today after they opened back up had alpha characters, where the old PS#s were 8 (I think) digit numbers.

It seems like I heard the system enhancement from a couple of weeks ago was cancelled and today's upgrade was the second attempt.
