Fill in the holes! And make sure some syrup gets on the bacon too![]()
On the waffle, all the holes filled in and enough extra syrup around the plate to dip the bottom of the waffle bites in!
...but it has to be real maple syrup, no fake stuff here.

Neither. Plain. No syrup, no butter, no sugar, no fruit, no peanut butter, no jam/jelly/preserves, no whipped cream, no nuts, no chocolate chips or other flavor candy morsels, no nothin'. Just plain. Belgian-style preferred. Cooked until quite dark and crunchy. Only way to eat a waffle, IMHO (DH disagrees). Yum.
