I recently switched my savings from Capital One 360 over to Synchrony for the better interest rate and so far so good.

i think bank account rates are almost all identical... but CD, it seems higher than others...
There are bank accounts that earn higher but requires some work... 3%...

We have an account with Synchrony. When GE closed its Interest Plus account, they moved the accounts there. So I expect it is legit.

It's legit-GE Capital's former consumer bank which was IPOd.

They are the ones that issue Amazon credit cards now. They're legit.

And, haha, I had to go change the name in my bill pay account. I've been sending payments to Synchronicity Bank!

What is in the interest on the CD's? Hard to find a good rate these days.

JCPENNEY credit cards were offered by them, so they are legit. And judging from the interest rate on the cards, THEY CAN AFFORD to pay high rates on deposits.
