I know it is crunch time for you! I'm glad you are feeling better. Congrats on the weight loss. I hope I can say the same when I leave for my trip.

Thanks for bringing me out of no mans land I am so not ready for the drive. I hate hate hate it. I also hate going North. It is supposed to be sunny and 70s here this weekend and cloudy and high 40's there. I beg my in-laws to move south every time we go up there. We did have a nice Easter. My DS got to spend Saturday with his cousins coloring and hunting eggs which he loved.

I am working on a trip update which I should be able to post soon. I am also looking forward to reading Stitchisourhero's TR. I cannot wait to hear about their trip.

Ha Ha. I had to laugh at the "hate going north" comment. I was just driving down the highway this week and I saw an SUV with Florida plates heading north, in the snow, and thought to myself "What Were They Thinking???" By this point every year, all I want is warmth and sunshine. I would be devastated to be pointing my compass north right now.

Glad you all had a nice Easter. I kind of miss the "hunting easter eggs" years. Maybe I'll shock my two teens and make them hunt eggs full of singles and quarters next year just so I can enjoy the hunt. I'm pretty sure I could get them out in the yard for that!

I know how you feel. My PTR was pretty hoppin' for awhile there, but now it has kind of fizzled, mostly because I have not updated lately! My PTR is not just for others though, it is for me to remember all of the crazy planning and preparation I did! I am thinking of printing it out somehow to put in our scrapbook! I did just finally do a little update, and I am sure I will have more as we get closer!

Day 15 – Fri. June 7th​

This is out last day of Vacation. It is also a SWW day so our first priority will be to run over to Hollywood Studios to M&G with any characters we have missed. If everything goes according to plan on our first 14 days we will not have to make the trip. However you know how plans go.

Other than finishing up last minute SWW stuff we really do not have any firm plans for this day. I am sure we will spend some time at the pool. We will also pop into EPCOT and spend some time in the World Showcase.

Depending on how well we did at Characterpalooza earlier in the week, we may run over to Hollywood Studios in the evening for that. Bottom line is I have no idea what this day will bring

I completely agree with this which is why no matter what I wanted to finish my plans for everyday. I am just not sure how much more detailed updating I will do. We are just a couple weeks away from our 30 day mark which is when I usually start panicking that I am not ready

Our final day has varies almost every trip. The first year, we just relaxed at the resort because we didn't feel like we had time for anything else before ME pickup. I felt like that was a little depressing.

On our last trip, we spent the morning at Epcot, then went to DD and shopped through the early afternoon. We loaded into the car around dinner time and drove through the night, getting home in the morning. That I liked. It felt like even our final day had some value in it.

This trip, I'm also planning our final day as a park day, basically until we feel "done". It will be our last chance to hit our favorites at both USF and IOA. Once we're satisfied we've done it all, we'll hit the road, but definitely no later than dinnertime. That insures we'll be home Sunday morning and give me time to get the laundry done and life back to normal before we go back to work on Monday.

WoW!! How Exciting! It's getting sooo close. When does your son get out of school? Are you going right at the end of the school year or does he get out early? My kids have seven weeks left so they'll be finishing up when your on vacation.

My DS gets out Wednesday May 22nd and we are supposed to leave Friday May 24th. However, I can already tell you that I will talk myself into leaving Thursday evening and driving the 4 hours to Valdosta so we can get to Central Florida before lunch on Friday. We have to stop at my Dad's and visit for awhile before heading to the hotel(he's about 30 minutes from Orlando) and I would like to get to the hotel by dinner time

We have a tendency to do that to. We just want to get the show on the road once we're that close. And, I would have to do it, if we were stopping in for a visit on the way. Otherwise, I would be a very rude guest, hopping arouund, ready to move on before we had said hello.

But, we are NOT leaving early this time. If we leave early this time, we're going to arrive in the middle of the night. As the plan stands we should get to Orlando right around 8 a.m. Which is about perfect.
Now, we've just got to avoid messing with a good plan.

I don't know if that's a blessing or a curse. If we could get there in half the time, we'd probably go twice as often, and be bankrupt as a result.

Ahh..the last day. **sigh** I try to end our trip in the most magical way possible, which usually means the Magic Kingdom and Wishes.
