SWW 2013:One tiny goal: A picture with every character!-New 6/11 - Link to TR

Love your plan for day 3! We will also be going to see Disney Jr. My youngest has a crush on Sofia and both boys actually like Doc too. I will admit, when that show comes on, I watch it. It's darling. What can I say? I'm a doc fan. :lmao:

Sounds like a fun day 3! I love reading about and seeing all the pics of the SWW activities. It is something we've never done due to timing, but it looks fantastic!

Bloody Mary's at Prime Time...noted. I may have to give that a try in April! ;)

I completely agree. Doc is the best!

If Julie is working have her make you one. Her's are excellent. She puts lots of cucumber and big olives in there. Yum Yum!

I'm following your PTR! We'll be arriving the 6th. I have a question. Is it possible to watch the Hyperspace Hoople on the AI screen and make it to Fantasmic is we have Fantasmic Dinner Package vouchers?

:welcome: Maybe. But only if the voucher lets you walk in at the last minute. Hoopla is at 8pm and Fantasmic is at 9pm. I think Hoopla lasts 30 minutes but it may be a little longer.

Your DHS plan looks great!! I will definitely have to try one of those Bloody Mary's one day! :thumbsup2

Day 4 - Mon May 27th

The plan for day 4 for is to have no plans! (:rotfl2: As if that is possible for me)
One of my DHs main requests for this trip was to have more down time. That is part of the reason why we are going for two weeks. I have agreed to do what I can to leave some unplanned time in our trip. However, I simply have to have some idea of the day so here is what I am thinking. If it changes, no biggie.

We will wake up at our own pace. This means bright and early for me, a little later for DS and not before 9am for DH. I will probably sit on the balcony(pixiedust: that we get a balcony) and spend some time catching up on the DIS while I wait for my boys to get moving. I have no idea what view we will have since we are staying in a standard view room but it really doesnt matter to me.

Once everyone is up and ready to go we will head over here as we have late breakfast reservations:

This will be a first for us. We have eaten dinner here but never breakfast. I am a big character hunter when we go to WDW and love to come back with as many pictures with characters as we can. This trip I have several character meals reserved to help us get photos without having to wait in line.

After breakfast I suspect that we will head back to the pool where we will spend most of the morning and afternoon.

I hope to be able to convince DS to go down this:

He is not thrilled that the slide is covered and is actually disappointed that we are staying at BC instead of BW this year. He loves the clown slide at BW.

After spending a lot of time enjoying all the areas of the BC pool we will head back up to the room, shower and change and then probably head here for a late lunch.

My DH loves to eat here but it is difficult to do at dinner time since they do not take reservations.

After lunch we might head here:

or here:

During this day I will also be keeping an eye on the lines app on my phone as I would like for us to head into EPCOT and grab FP tickets to Soarin for the evening. So when the FP times get to the point where the window is after 6pm we will run over to get them. I have my fingers crossed that this occurs at a convenient time like after we are cleaned up from the pool and before or after lunchpixiedust: However if it happens while we are at the pool that is not a problem because that is one of the biggest perks of staying in an EPCOT resort. We can just throw some shorts and a Tshirt on and still run over and get FPs. DH & DS only have to go through the gate and hand me their tickets then they can head straight back to the pool(a 5 minute walk tops) and I will run over and get the FPs by myself.

After we are done playing golf we may head to the room for a little R&R. DH will :happytv:, DS will want to :surfweb: (he is obsessed with YouTube) and I will either spend time on the DIS or read. We will hang out in the room until our FP time opens up and then we will head over to ride my very, very, very favorite ride; Soarin.

After riding Soarin we may try to find a good spot to watch this(although it is not a must do for us):

Or if we may just go find a comfortable lounger on the BC beach and just watch the high fireworks from there.

Up Next: Day 5 - Animal Kingdom

I'm loving your plans so far.
We took a two week trip in 2010, and I really overscheduled us. DH did not love it. lol. Your a much smarter wife than I. :lmao: My hubby wore out and then I got frustrated. Which resulted in one or two less than pleasant moments. :headache: There's no way we can do it all in four days this time, so I'm going to try to just relax and enjoy whatever we can do in our short time at the parks. :lmao: (We'll see how that goes....)

I love down days at Disney! Yours sounds fabulous!

We have a dinner reservation for Cape May Cafe this trip...it's our one and only TS this time so I hope we like it. My middle son is a big fan of crab legs so we picked it for him!

I hope I can stick to our agreement.:rolleyes1 Having unscheduled days is difficult for me:laughing:

We ate Cape May dinner last trip and I think I ate at least 4lbs of crab legs myself. I did not get to enjoy much else on the buffet but those crab legs were delicious.

Day 5 - Tues May 28th

Today is Animal Kingdom day. Since the park opens at 9am we will be up, feed and at the bus stop by 8am. We like to do rope drop at most parks but especially at AK.

Our first stop when we get through the gate will be here:

Once we have our FPs we will go ahead and ride the Safari. I am really hoping to see some of these as they have not been out the last few years when we have gone:

After the Safari we will walk through here:

Then we will head over here:

This will be our first time at this attraction and I am really looking forward to it.

I expect that our FPs will be open by this time so we will head back over here:

After a leisurely stroll through the Maharaja jungle we will head here:

It has been a few years since we have made time for this attraction. I hope my DS likes it better than he did the last time.:scared:

Next up is this:

DS will want to ride this several times but we will have to see what the line is like.

finally we will ride this(I will run over at some point in the morning and get FPs for it)

Then it is off to a late but delicious lunch here:

This is one of my favorite counter service restaurants in all the parks.

After lunch we will head over to my very favorite show in all of Disney:

After the show we will hang around Camp Minnie-Mickey for some M&Gs with these guys:

The last thing we plan to do before dinner is ride this(I will picl up FPs for this at the approriate time):

DS really wants to ride this and I can not eat dinner in wet cloths so I am going to have to lug an extra outfit(including flip flops) around the park all day for all three of us. We will change into cloths we do not care about before the ride, ride it and then change back when we are done.

After that we will head over here for a delicious dinner:

I know this day feels packed but there are some things on here that are not must dos. So, we will adjust the schedule accordingly if we need to.

Up next Day 6 - Magic Kingdom!

Thank you so much for this!

I'm trying to organise our days (just DH& me) - this will be our first time @ disneyworld. (We'll be there from 18 - 27May)
Have only been to Disney @ Hong Kong & Paris so far
I'm so lucky to have the excuse of a conference (self funded) to come over from Australia
Your plans are a great help

Catching up!!! LOVE your "down day" and AK plans!! Makes me wish we were doing AK (my fave!!) on this trip! Cape May breakfast is SOOOOOO good!!! That's where we had the BEST service of any Disney restaurant in 15 trips!! :thumbsup2

:welcome: I am glad this report is helping with your plans. We will be there for 15 whole days so 11 more days of plans to go:cool1: You will have such a blast when you come over.

We are actually doing more than we normally do when we go to AK. It is usually just half a day for us. I am glad we have the time to enjoying the whole park this trip.

I am so glad to hear about Cape May. We have several character breakfasts planned for this trip and since I am such a character lover I think I am looking forward to them most of all:dance3:

I love Animal Kingdom! Your plans look great...except for the Flights of Wonder show, of course. ;) All kidding aside, you'll like it. It's a good show if you don' have severe F.O.B. (Fear of Birds)!

Yummm...Flame Tree! One of my favorites! :thumbsup2

Thanks we are looking forward to eating there.

So I just realized I left a very important part off my Day 5 plans. Dinner:scared1:

As you know I originally ended Day 5 with us walking out of AK soaking wet from riding Kalie River Rapids. Well I just realized today we actually have dinner reservations here for 5:45pm:

DS really wants to ride Kali and I can not eat dinner in wet cloths so I am going to have to go with Plan B which means I will lug an extra outfit(including flip flops) around the park all day for all three of us. We will change into cloths we do not care about before the ride, ride it and then change back when we are done.

I will update my original day 5 post but wanted to put this in here for those that have already read that one:)

Loved all your AK plans. I really enjoy that park (it's my second fave after Epcot). We always eat lunch at Flame Tree. It's very good and we love the seating along the waterway. Very peaceful back there.
We tried Rainforest on our last trip and liked it also. The food was good and the atmosphere was fun. Our waitress was telling us which "famous people" had been seated at our table (against the fish tank) during her years working there. Very friendly lady.
I can't remember if you will have a car on this trip (I'm reading too many PTRs, ha) but if you do, you might want to keep your clothes in the car. This is the only parking lot where I'd consider it. But, it's fairly close and you could just send one person to grab your stuff at the end of the day.
Since I won't get to visit AK on our trip, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy reading about this day in your TR! :cool1:
