Hi, Planning a 6day/5night trip in September and was able to get the Beach Club for 3 nights at $264 room only, but to extend my vacation over the weekend it more than doubled the price. So I decided to book AKL for 2 nights at $256. How difficult is it to switch resorts? It'll be me and my 3 kids ages 15, 13, & 8. They are excited about the split vacation

Switching resorts is easy :). On the day you check out of the BC, take your luggage to bell services (or call from your room and they will come get it) and tell them you are going to AKL and they will take care of everything else. You can then go about your day and check into AKL anytime. Be sure, though, to keep anything with you that you think you might need during the day as your luggage probably won't get to AKL until sometime between 1:00-3:00. Have a great trip.....both the BC and AKL are great resorts :goodvibes.

What was said above, only we were told by the bellhop that the luggage actually doesn't get switched until around 4:00pm. With that news we chose to grab a cab with our luggage, but there was only 2 of us. Either way, it's very easy :thumbsup2

Having your luggage transferred around 3-4pm shouldnt be a huge deal if you get everything you need ahead of time. I have a small carry-on which i take with me. I put our swim suits in there and other things i need. Very easy switching resorts.
