Switching resorts, a couple of ?

On our december trip, my parents and me will be switching resorts. First CSR and than AKL it is. Just a couple of questions about switching resorts.

I might end up buying our tickets online (if no package discount comes out that beats our AAA rate), maybe at the resort (thinking about upgrading to a AP for myself). Is it wise to let them add the park tickets to the room key if we do buy the tickets online? Will there be any chance of getting trouble to have to tickets added onto the room key for AKL after them being on the CBR keys first?

Secondly; the reservation at AKL is in my dads name. Ofcourse, my moms and my names are on there also. I'm thinking about checking us in, while my parents hit AK to do KS. Can I do this, or will my dad have to be there because of his name being first? (I allready gather they'll still have to get their MYW tickets added to the room key if we put them on the key, which is no problem. I just don't see the point in them waiting around in a lobby while they can do some rides they'll love to do and I don't want to do anyway. Which would give me the time to check us in, check the room etc.)

We've never done a split stay, but plan to do one this fall. All the threads I've read say that attaching tickets to your room keys can be tricky as there are almost always problems (with extra magic hours, hopping etc) on the day of the switch and the following days.
