Switching Name (Person) on Ticket, after Fastpasses have been added?

Friends are joining us on our upcoming trip & now one person can't attend. Can they switch this ticket to another person, even though fastpasses have been linked? The ticket has NOT been used yet.

Did the friend who was not going have their own MyDisneyExperience account, or did you control their tickets and fastpasses from your account? If you controlled the tickets and fastpasses, you should be able to go into your family/friends settings and just rename the guest. If the individual who isn't going had their own MDE account, you can still transfer the tickets and fastpasses but it gets much more complicated.

You can just Edit the name in the MDX account.

What’s even easier is to let the new person use the tickets and FPs without needing to change the name at all.
