Switching hotels - UHP question

I was thinking of switching hotels - perhaps going from the WL to the BWI or BC. We are going to use the UHP's which I know are linked to your hotel reservation. We will be there for around 11 nights, and were thinking of 7 nights at the WL and 4 nights at the BWI or BC. Based on the prices I see on Mousesavers, it would cost a lot more to get two UHP for each hotel stay then getting one UHP pass for the entire stay, but we are switching hotels so they must have to break the UHP up?

I looked at the AP but we would need a PAP (we love water parks and were planning on going to PI). The PAP (with advanced purchase) seems a little higher, but that might be the only way to go, right?

Or should we just stay in the WL to make things simpler?

Can I buy the PAP now and activate it for our April trip or will I need to buy it in 2005?

Hello Karen.. Fellow DISer from MA....

I've run into the same perdicament before when splitting my stays between hotels. But unfortunatly, you can not get a UHP for your length of stay between two hotels...you must get one at the 1st hotel and another at the 2nd one. Running into quite abit more $$. Maybe you could get the 7 day hopper with 4 plusses?

But, for myself, I would personally go with the PAP, you'll have the freedom of going wherever, whenever you'd like!
And I beleive you can buy your annual pass now, at today's prices and activate it in April! Double check Mary's site for more info, along with right here on the DIS ticket page

You might even be able to hook up a Annual pass hotel rate for 2005?~!
Best of luck......deb

Thanks for the info deb...that's what I thought would be the answer. I hate to get a 7-day hopper plus because we go to a park on our water-park days too. We love to have the freedom to go anywhere. Yes, I think I'll splurge for the PAP, but I am confused because the info on the DIS ticket page mentions that the AP doesn't start counting down till you activate it. But the PAP says it starts from the purchase date. Is this just an omission? Or are they different. I don't want to purchase a PAP now if it is activating now and I don't want to use it till April (in case I want to go again).

Yes, we're both from MA (Go Red Sox!!!!!) By the way I noticed you live on the cape.... I live is the Metrowest area....my parents live in Dennis so I go to the cape all the time (I love the Bay beaches - they're great for my little kids!)
