Switching from All-Star Movies to Port Orleans Riverside (Any reason not to do this?)

I booked a 10 night stay at Disney in July for my family of 4 (kids ages 6 and 8) I originally had booked at All-Star Movies. However with the recent promotions I can change it to Port Orleans Riverside for less money (or about the same money at the Royal Rooms).

For about the same money that I've already budgeted for we could stay at a Royal Room at Port Orleans (my daughter is princess crazy so I think she'd appreciate it and being Disney fanatics I think we'd appreciate all of the little touches and the locations of these rooms seem very good).

We plan to do some shopping and dining in Disney Springs so the boat access seems super convenient.

The little resort extras like the carriage rides, fishing, and better featured pools seem like nice bonuses.

This seems like a no-brainer but I just wanted to make sure. Is there any reason not to do this?

I think you made an airtight case about why you shouldn't even consider reconsidering! Switch to POR for all the reasons you mentioned...

We switched from Movies to POFQ so I say- do it! :) We are going in July for 10 days too!

We love POR! Such a beautiful resort. The boat to DS is awesome. I've never stayed in a Royal Room, but I've heard they're great. If your daughter is princess crazy, she'll love it! Hope you have a wonderful trip!
