Switching a Reservation

Someone please help me. I want to book a trip to the Animal Kingdom in Dec , but can only get responses from owner from other resorts. Since we are more than 7 months out they want to book there Resort and than switch to Animal Kingdom at the 7 month window. What are chances of me getting what i want if i do that, or should i just wait to find an AKV owner??????

It sounds as though you are wanting to rent a reservation from a DVC member? If that's the case, I would try to find an AKV owner to rent the dates you want. If that does not happen, you can still find someone to try to make the reservation at 7 months. If you commit now to someone who owns at another resort, they may not be able to get the reservation at 7 months anyway and you might be stuck with a reservation at VB in December.

I'd just be patient and keep looking for an AKV owner who is able to assist now. Otherwise, anyone can try to help at 7 months.
