Switched AKL Std to AKL PV Bunk Beds!!!

I booked this with the Disney Visa on the 9th, and all that was available was standard view. I was just able to upgrade to Pool View with Bunk Beds. My kids (and us) wanted those bunk beds so badly!! I am a very happy camper tonite!!!!

That's great you got what you wanted and avoided the "should'ves". Bunk beds are great and actually give you a little more room to move around. AKL rooms are smaller than some of the other deluxe resorts, so this should help.

Well the first time (and only time) the kids stayed at AKL we were given a room with Bunk Beds (with Savannah View), the kids loved them. Its great seeing as I have a DS and DD, now they can each have their own beds. Our first choice of resort was CSR (cheaper, great pool, and we love PM). CSR is booked for FD and all others for our week. Well at least for the first 1/2 of our week. Now if it comes available, I don't think I will be able to switch.

My only problem now are the kids fighting over who gets the TOP BUNK!!

Now I can keep my fingers crossed and hope for a SV upgrade at checkin .
