switch to swan club level?

We are coming to Orlando Thanksgiving, staying at Universal royal pacific till Sunday. Then we have AK Lodge standard view booked for 3 nights at postcard rate. We wanted to do concierge for one night at AKL or Polynesian, but all postcard rates sold out for them. Can get Swan or Dolphin club level for about $100 more than AKL standard for one night. Is it worth switching hotels for one night at s/d club level, or should we just stay put at standard AKL. They didn't even have pool or savannah view available at postcard rate.

Personally I found the Swan club level to be a BIG letdown. It is not like the Disney Concierge. You get a limited contiental breakfast and limited evening snacks. The lounge is only open during those hours and when I stayed it was very crowded. (They seem to give lounge access to LOTS of hotel rooms, not just the two CL floors.)
The evening hours were something like 5 to 7 and unlike others I did not find the offerings to constitute dinner. In addition, there are no free alcholic drinks which I think is a nice touch a these type of lounges.

I don't know if it is worth it to you, but if you are expecting what you get with Disney then you will be disappointed. I would not switch for one night just for this.

I agree with Carol- I use the club level b/c my father is always upgraded w/ platinum starwood, but no way would I pay extra money for it. Even for "non-Disney" concierge it's not so great, and certainly not worth additional bucks. There's really no exclusivity, limited hours, small lounge, cash bar, okay but not great offereings for a bit of time in the evening, etc.

The one upside- I really like the staff a lot, they are great!
