My DSis always wears board shorts (and she's the skinny one in the family-if I had her body I would never cover it up!

) And towards the end of the day, my DM, DD7, and myself usually end up putting on a t-shirt so we don't get burned. No one has every said anything to us about it, and I've seen plenty of people doing the same thing.
Also, just so you know, while I too would like to be smaller, I have to say that at both BB, and TL, I feel very comfortable walking around in just my one-piece. There are so many different sized people there that you may quickly become comfortable with your size. It's not like the Travel Channel shows show, not everyone walking around is wearing a bikini! (and has the body for it

).
But, don't worry, if you're uncomfortable, wear your t-shirt and shorts. Personally, I agree with PP about the chafing from shorts, and I would just wear a long t-shirt, or some other type of cover-up. Just remember, people really aren't looking at you, they're having too much fun!
For me, I actually worry more about how I look after a full day in the water parks. No makeup, hair is a mess, tired, and wet. So, when I'm walking from our car to our room, I always wear my hat and sunglasses, oh and my wrap around my waist. That covers it!
Have a great time-we love the water parks!
