Or, are they not so long.

Have any short statured women here worn these?

I am looking at one that I really like, available online. But, since I am vertically challenged, if these run long in the torso, it won't work.

It does have adjustable straps. So I can pull them shorter.

Looking for any feedback before considering ordering something that night not be returnable!

If anybody knows of any makers of one-piece suits that work for shorter women, I would love to hear your recommendations!

My moms very petite and wears a regular speedo. I am average height and wear a speedo L (long torso).
Haven't bought any other brands since figuring this out. They aren't always wonderful to look at but they fit correctly.

I am petite and I had great luck with lands end. they carry petite sizes and they have a great return policy. I can usually find a discount code for 30% off, as well as free shipping.

OMG! I have two speedo's now that I love... But they aren't the regular speedo suits. I can't wear the racing type suits at all. This one is SO cool... I actually found one at our second-hand Goodwill type store, when DS was doing community service helping out. Like completely brand new... It has an underwire, and a keyhole back that you hook like a bra strap. Most amazing suit I have ever owned. The ENDURANCE fabric that is incredible.

It is just a tad tight, so I look all the time on Ebay, and finally found one a size larger, in black. Made sure I won that auction!

Thanks you guys. Can't wait for vacation to wear these suits... :beach:

I am 5 2 and have several miracle suits. I need to say they do run a size smaller so if you wear a 10 get a 12. Which one are you looking at ? Are you on Cyberswim?

The Land's End swimsuits run true to their sizing chart. You can order online. They have regular and long torsos. They also have the slimming suits. I would not order a swimsuit from anywhere if it is not returnable. Swimsuits are so hard to fit!

Miraclesuits do not run long in the torso. They are built like old-fashioned girdles through the middle, however, and if you buy your regular size you are likely to bulge out at the top and bottom of the suit; go up a size.

Also, the fabric is very prone to chemical damage. Make sure that you NEVER get any alcohol on it (including spray sunblock); the elastane will begin to break down right away, and you will end up with stretched-out sheer patches wherever the damage is.

If you are short through the torso, the best advice that I can give is to avoid halter-style suits. Unless you havevery well-toned shoulders and upper arms, you probably will look even shorter wearing that style. Go with a style that has a low-cut squarer neckline and emphasizes your bustline; the more bare skin that shows around your shoulders, the better it will look.
