Swimming

We're doing swimming in school right now and as always, I really hate it. The water's freezing and they don't give us enough time to change. So I was just wondering how many of your schools have swimming during P.E. and if there's anyone who does like it.

I had to do swimming in gym in high school. It wasn't too bad- my teacher would always make sure we had enough time to change, though sometimes it was a pain.

i never swam in high school but i'm sure that if we had a pool we would have had to..i went to catholic school and we had this strict pe class..girls wit girls and guys wit guys..then finally senior year we got to bowl with guys mixed with girls it was a lot of fun..i even got a trophey

You have swimming? In gym class? that's crazy... we don't even have a pool on campus! The swim team has to go to the local college...
anway, that sucks that u gotta swim during gym...

I dont swim in gym class but i do swim for my school and we have to go to another school like 15 minutes away but i think they might have swimming in PE there

I love to swim and I am on a swim team. I would like to swim at school just to show everyone up, because I am not the best at b-ball. I would not like to swim durring pe though, because it has been about 20 degrees all this week. I only like to change when I have a lot of time after swim practice and my PE teacher only gives us 4 min to change. I am always the last person to get out of the locker room, because it takes me so long.

we did in 6th grade and i LOVED it! man i would swim all day instead of school!

Im on the swim team, so I like swimming. I have a pool at my high school and its mandatory to swim in PE, its only for 3 weeks a year though. But our PE teachers are nice. You get 5 minutes to change into your suit and about 15-20 minutes before the next class to change back into your clothes, do your hair, and put your makeup on so you're only in the pool all of 15 minutes.

I had to swim in gym class too (just freshman and sophomore year). The unit was only 3 weeks long so it wasn't too bad, however we only got 15 minutes to shower and change so I always had to go to my next class with wet hair.

I sorta wish we had a pool but then I don't cause I have super long hair and it would be wet ALL day! But I love swimming!
