I love my wet jet. I have tile floors, and I generally do a quick pass on them every day to keep them looking clean. I'm not sure it would work great if you had really dirty floors, but for light cleaning, it works fantastic.
I like it if I don't feel like getting down and scrubbing. But if you have a lot of dust, (unfortunately I do) I find that it doesn't pick up well and then I end up using a regular sniffer first and THEN using the wet jet. That just seems like more work then it should be lol
I have a microfiber Norwex mop and I love it. I don't have to keep buying the cleaning chemicals because it only uses water. It is antibac so it sanitizes as it cleans. The mop comes with a dry pad Anidee and it is held onto the mop handle by Velcro a quick switch and you are good to go. I also have a tile pad that I use to clean the shower. It is expensive at first about $150.00 for the whole setup but you never have to buy chemicals. My DW is a party queen and had the Norwex rep do a party and the mop was a free gift because of her party sales.
I kind of liked the wet jet when I had linoleum floors in my kitchen (at another home). My kitchen/dining room combo was really big though and the pad would get saturated (& I thought it was icky to take it off). When I moved into my current home, we put hard wood floors in the kitchen. I bought the Swiffer stuff for hard wood floors and it left streaky residue on my floor.
I got a Shark mop as a gift and used it for a little while. I loved that the pads were washable but I really felt like the floor wasn't as clean as it could be with using only the Shark.
Now, I use a regular Swiffer with a wash cloth on it with Murphy's oil soap. I supplement this with hand washing any areas that are hard to reach. I also change out my wash cloths as needed (whole upstairs is hardwood floors) and wash the wash cloths just like I did the Shark pads.
