Okay, what are your favorite places to grab a treat or a sweet? I did not get to check the cute little treat places the time I went and I do not want to miss something wonderful. So, what treat can you not leave Disney until you have had one?
I know beavertails are gone and that was one thing I wanted to try.. but alas...
Thanks!

Our visits are not complete without a stop at the candy shop on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom! Excellent variety! :)

dole whips in adventureland in MK
rice crispy treats throughout the parks, resorts, and DTD
popcorn in the parks--so buttery!
ice cream sandwich with freshly baked cookies in the main street bakery in MK

can you tell i'm planning out our days for our trip in may???
this is making me hungry :jumping4:

#1= Caramel corn and cappucino from Sleepy Hollow in MK.

#2=Strawberry sherbet/vanilla ice cream swirls from the Enchanted Grove (next to the Tea Cups and Cosmic Rays.)

so many people seem to love those dole whips....i thought they were gross :crazy2:
there's an awesome bakery/sweets shop in dtd, i think around pleasure island. the best candy i found anywhere on property is in Epcot Japan. the best bakery, Epcot Norway. any of the WS pavilions are great for sweets because you get to try foreign candies & pastries that you may have never experienced before.

Main street bakery chocolate chip cookies! and boardwalk bakery desserts.

Oh My Gosh! Caramel Apples from the candy shop on Main Street...My mother and I absolutely LOVE them! My DH never wants one of his own, then winds up eating half of mine, so we've learned to buy three instead of just two!

I'm also not a big fan of Dole Whips, but we LOVE popcorn all over the World, and I'm a chocolate chip cookie JUNKIE, so I can't wait to try the ice cream sandwiches with freshly baked cookies!

I think I eat low-fat and low-carb all year just so that I can eat whatever I want at WDW, there's no way I can deny myself at that place! :wizard:

Those giant eclairs from the Boardwalk Bakery. They are definitely big enough for 2.

Funnel Cakes in America in Epcot
Dole Whips
Main St Ice Cream Parlor
Variety of yummy frozen drinks at various lounges. ;)

Hands down Chocolate covered marshmellows on a stick from the Main Street Confectionary. :) (I think that's what the candy shop is called..) It is the PERFECT snack for watching the fireworks! :)

I tried making them at home with no success. :(

Sweet pretzels and chocolate cake from the bakery in Norway in Epcot.

I just remembered...while I usually dont eat them there, while I am in WDW I always have to buy a package of the Mickey shaped chocolate covered coconut candies. They are delicious and make a great souvenier!

carmel apples! that reminds me, the candy shop at mgm has amazing fudge apples covered in any kind of candy you could imagine.

My favorites are...

Mickey Bars!!
Anything from Main Street Bakery (especially the apple turnovers)
Anything from the bakery in France (especially the Napoleons or eclairs)
Dole Whips
Minute Maid Frozen Strawberry Lemonade (so refreshing on a HOT day!!!)

I MUST have a Mickey Premium Bar.
Ice Cream Sandwich from Sleepy Hollow in MK.
Chocolate chip cookie from Main Street Bakery.

There is a little shop in the Studios where my DH and I have the most delicious flourless chocolate cake. Sooo chocolatey. We also love to have coffee and a pastery at the Patiserie in France. So much to choose from. Giardelli's hot fudge sundaes too.

Main street bakery. . .yum
dole whips
milkshakes over between pooh and snow white

Epcot--pastry shop at france, coffee/pastry shop by ice station, japan--those yummy snowcones!!

mgm--by the villians room--those yummy candy apples and fudge!!

not really a favorite at Ak

and of course the MICKEY BARS!!!

Absolutely do not miss the pastry shop in France at EPCOT. Outstanding! It's hard to pick just one thing - you should pick up a few for back at the room - if you can wait that long!

I thought the caramel apples at the candy shop on the Boardwalk were awful. Didn't taste like caramel at all.

I think the pastries at the Boardwalk bakery are the best and the brownies DTD......mmmmmmm.......can't wait to get there......57 days and counting.....
