Sweetheart Dinner for Two?

On the "true love" page for the "what will you celebrate" they have Sweetheart Dinner for Two (available Spring 2009)". Anyone one have any idea what this will be?

I notice it says "Select Walt Disney World Resort locations". Not "Most full-service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort" or "Select restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort" like all the other choices. Does this mean it will be in places other then restaurants? Any insider have clues?

about it being offered as an in room option at some resorts. Specific resorts were not listed. It's supposed to be offered at the signature restaurants.

I am ding the private dining thing at the GF. We have our own butler, and a specially designed dinner by the chef. We have dinner on a balcony at the GF and dessert is served during Wishes. Maybe it is something like that!

I did the private dining at the GF last month for our anniversary and it was FABULOUS! I would sooo totally recommend it to anyone. This was mentioned in another thread and I gave help about it to Glo. (Hi Glo! )

I called the private dining number at the Grand Floridian 407-824-2578 and dealt with a woman named Linda. We had our own butler, personalized menu and we sat on a balcony and we saw the Electric Water Pageant, fireworks from Illuminations as well as the Hallowishes fireworks over the castle. To die for! Food was awesome!

Here is our menu with the detailed cost...of course don't know the final tally yet but expect it to be upwards of $300. I can let you know better after our January trip! (our 35th wedding anniversary) I sent a list of our dinner preferences and the chef came up with the menu with that information.

"This is to confirm your Intimate Dinner on xxxxxx. Your butler will meet your party at our Grand Piano located in our main lobby. At this time we do not know when our Wishes fireworks will be. As we get closer, I will confirm the time for your party. Please review the menu that our chef has created and let me know if you have any questions. The cost of your Intimate Dinner is $85.00 per person, plus 6.5% tax, 18% gratuity and $75.00 butler fee. We will need a credit card to process your order.

French Onion Soup

Caesar Salad with Focaccia Breadstick

Filet of Beef accompanied by a Crab Cake, served with Mushroom Ragout,

Haricot Verts (for her) and Grilled Asparagus (for him) with a Roasted Garlic Au Jus

Water is included. Other beverages are additional.

Over our "Wishes" fireworks a special dessert will be served."
