I read on an old thread, about off-site food options, that a lot of people like eating at both Sweet Tomatoes and Miller's Ale House. Has anyone eaten there recently? Would you recommend either/both? We will be staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek resort and these both look to have fairly close locations and seem to be good choices. Thanks for your opinions!

Yeah they're both good, but the Orlando tourist areas basically have every chain and non chain restaurant out there so there's tons of other options available but if you've never been to them they're worth a visit. We have both of these restaurants down here in Miami as well and we visit them pretty frequently,Sweet Tomatoes probably moreso.Sweet Tomatoes is a salad buffet with soups, bakery and other choices. You walk in grab a plate and go down the salad bar line, filling your plate or get two plates if you like.Once you get to the end of the salad bar line you pay the cashier, get your cups and find a table.Once seated you can go get your drinks, eat your salad items or go and get whatever you want from the bakery items,8 different soups or other items available like baked potato, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese or another pasta and pizza squares. There's also some fruits, custards and a special of the day dessert as well as soft serve with toppings.Miller's Ale House is more like a traditional sports bar with pretty decent food. Many of the ones down here also go by their location name followed by Ale House so it might say Davie Ale House or Doral Ale House but they're the same company as the ones that use Miller's.

It's been a couple years since we've been but I just wanted to say how AWESOME Sweet Tomatoes is after a week of heavy park food!!! We will be eating there again in 18 days!! :cool1: Also if you sign up for their newsletter you will get coupons emailed to you.

Im usually a big fan of Millers. However, a visit to the one on rt 535 earlier this month turned out rather disappointing. The service wasnt very good and the food wasn't very good either. Maybe its just the one on 535, maybe its just a fluke.

At some point during our trips we get "done" with Disney food. We always go to Sweet Tomatoes for something different. It is buffet style, so if you have a lot of kids that can be a headache. It is always fresh and we've always had good service there.

We go to millers on 192 the area is up and coming lots of restaurants a publix target we go for the rib specials on Mondays 1 1/4 lb of ribs for about $11 the prime rib for $13 on Thursdays attracts a big crowd

We go to both frequently. I love the Millers on 192 and the Sweet Tomatoes across the street. Millers can get really busy at dinner time.

If you go to the Sweet Tomatoes web site you can join their mailing list and they will email you coupons every 2 weeks or so. You will save a couple bucks per person that way.

Oooooh sweet tomatoes! We went twice on our 4 day trip last week. Sooo good, loved it! Everything was fresh & delicious with a wonderful variety of items to choose from.

We just went to Sweet Tomatoes a few days ago and my kids loved it. If you sign up on their website you can get coupons too. If you're looking for a good, inexpensive option offsite it's great choice!

We don't have Sweet Tomatoes in our neck of the woods- NJ- and just read the menu for Sweet Tomatoes. I am looking forward to trying it out! :)
