Many thanks to those who have posted on the restaurant Souplantation & Sweet Tomatoes, which serves salads, soups, pastas, muffins and deserts.

We'd never noticed this chain in the past and only tried it out because of the positive reviews on these boards and boy were we pleasantly surprised, not only in the salad selection but also the cleanliness and low prices especially for seniors.

We signed up on their website the day before and receive a 50% off voucher for one meal which we used by just showing the cashier the voucher code number from our mobile phone.

Seniors also receive 10% off except Monday to Thursday between 1pm and 5pm where it only cost them $6.99 and this includes all drinks, hot and cold.

So for anyone age 60 and over it has to be one of the best value and healthy buffet dinners around and on the other days and times it still only cost $10.49 for the dinner plus $2.69 for unlimited soft or hot drinks, less any discounts.

We used the one at Rolling Oaks Blvd many times which is on the 192 just prior to the junction with the 429, its set amongst a group of other shops-restrautants such as a Super Target, Bahama Breeze and Olive Garden, we also visited the one at the Cross-Roads.

We're also big fans of the Soup plantation Sweet Tomatoes, and although we're on the DDP when we go in 8 weeks we shall still go off-Site a couple of times so we can eat here.

Before we went to Sweet Toms for the first time I said there would be no way I will enjoy eating here. No steak!!!, no chicken!!!, how can I eat a meal without meat. Couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it, we eat there at least once every trip now, it makes a change from all the steaks & burgers.
I even took my friend who was with us a few years back, he is a bigger meat eater than me, used to be a butcher, even he really enjoyed it.
Looking forward to eating there again in August.
