They are expensive but my DH and DD have done great in and love their Keens! Throw in sneakers a day or two for a change of pace and you are good to go.

I totally agree!! Rosie I put a pic of my Keens I bought on my PTR before we went in May. I love my Keens. They are very comfy & I did not even get a chance to break them in before we left & they were great. I also bring my Nike's & switch off. I got my Keens at one of our local shoe stores.

I hope Sam is ok. Sounds like it could be Strep.

What shoes/sandals do you recommend for Disney in August ????

They are ulgy IMO but Crocs are what saved my feet last trip. I got a blister and my feet were hot in my sneekers and my feet hurt in my sandals... I got the black disney ones right in the store at the Pop. They are comfey and keep ur feet really cool.

Yes it is MONO!!!!!They have put her on prednisone for 5 days and she is rotating Tylenol and motrin every 2 hours !! To me her throat looks better today , but still is awful so you can imagine how bad it was on Thursday night !!Today she has managed to drink half a milkshake and some chicken noodle soup. Judy has her in Kyle's room to keep her as isolated as possible as she is just paranoid that we all will get it which is of course a possibility so Dissers lots of prayers please that the MONO doesn't infect the rest of us !!!!

Judy tried crocs and they hurt her feet , I am the only one who can wear them in Disney, so Iwill dig around in the closet and take 3 or 4 different sandals/crocs and switch on and off !!The girls are fine in flip flops .Kyle wears only sneakers so it is really just Judy !!

Hi Jo I seem to have trouble getting over to facebook as myy DGD has her FB on my laptop I barely have anytime to Dis anymore with all the hours I am picking up !! Will somebody teach me the word NO!!!!!:rotfl2

We had our 2nd annual Luau at work today and it was awesome , a couple of other houses came and family members . Our guys were all dressed up and the spread we put on was wonderful !!I will try to post pix tomorrow ! One of the consumers who came is from Hawaii originally and she told me Buckertody means CRAZY in Hawaii !! Oh Marv a new word to call me !!!

Oh no! I hop you all caught the mono early and that she fights it off quickly. One of Danny's softball girls had it this spring, missed a ton of school right at the end of the year when they are busy with finals, and didn't have the energy to come to softball practice for awhile. It really wiped her out.

Much better the steroids and rotating tylenol and motrin aling with sucrets have done wonders !!She still isn't eating much , but that is not all bad as she has gained a lot of weight !!We are making sure she drinks like vitamin drinks and milkshakes and she is eating soup so she is getting there . Her throat looked much better yesterday too!!

Oh yes no Samantha is slowly recovering the biggie is who else will get it !!We have stressed no shaint drinks utensils etc and unless you are sure whose drink it is don't touch it
