There are bedbugs at Lake George???

Is this still a big problem in hotels in the states? I haven't heard much about it recently.

Heard from Rosie last night! Well, I fell asleep early, so heard her voice mail this morning. Seems the two fantastic, best of the best, cream of the crop Escorts LEFT their blind guest somewhere at the hotel. The phone broke up so I missed where, but they found him and all is well. What a way to start a trip though!!

Yes, it is a HUGE problem in the U.S. - the government actually declared the U.S. has an infestation of bedbugs. If you look it up, Canada has a problem too. It is due to several years ago the pesticide that killed bedbugs was stopped b/c it caused cancer, so now there is no pesticide to prevent bedbugs.

There are some good sites that tell you how to be careful when travelling (or shopping - the things have been found in all kinds of stores and even movie theatres! So gross!!).

All you can do is be careful, follow the precautions and try not to worry. Poor Rosie - bedbugs were found in one of the beds of the consumers a few weeks ago, so she posted what the pest control guy told them to do. I felt so bad for everyone there - the critters can be a challenge to get rid of and quite costly.

My mention of 'don't let the bedbugs bite' was a little tease b/c of what she's been through recently - thank goodness, it seems she did not take any home. Poor Judy was a wreck with worry they'd get in the house - who wouldn't be?!

I am back !! Arrived home about 5:30 pm , BUT judy was on the laptop for work and I couldn't go online till she was done !!
We had a fantastical time , the slow group were wonderful !!So much fun and laughs !!Carol got "Hit on" by one of the Elvis ' and I was NO help as I was doubled up laughing !!!
We only left the blind guy by the van , each of us thought the other had him and we were all the way into the lobby when Carol spotted I did NOT have him!!He was just standing exactly where we left him!!
