I have flown Air tran a few time since they do have a direct or a 1 stop to Orlando. Never any "real" bad problems but I have also encountered teh flight changes without notification. I called and simply rebooked based on their new schedule and encountered no change fees.

I have had uglier service and issues with USAir and Delta.

Other good news for me is that Airtran only has one gate in Charlotte so I always know which gate to go to. We are A USAir hub so I could be leaving from anywhere in the airport and oh yeah I have had issues with that.

I hope they notify us of changes !!I do not want to deal with Judy if they don'tMore to the point AirTran doesn't want to deal with Judy

I was a wee bit mad when I informed them that I was upset that I was not notified of the change. I would check the flight often since I have had that happen before.

To my surprise they were very nice and helpful and rebooked it no problem.

So just keep an eye out and check once in a while to see if they change it.

Thanks Glen !!!I still have to book my SWA return flight , funny how that isn;t as important as getting there I am still shopping for Limos called one that sounds okay but they don't take all the luggage in the limo rather they charge for a caddy so that puts the price up a bit !!Looking at another that looks good and says it handles the amount of luggage we will have !!

Albany a TR within a PTR!![/SIZE]

On Tuesday March 8th , Rosie and Deb ventured on a thriliing adventure/ mission!!!We were taking 12 yes 12 consumers to Albany N.Y. for the day.
Our day started at 5a.mWhen we collected all 12 and loaded them up into 2 vans for the short drive to Buffalo where The Self Advoates had rented a Bus for our long drive !!
We boarded the bus

Here is my awsome staff my accomplice on this Mission

We stopped in Batavia to pick up a few more and we were on our way !! Mickey another staff had ensured that we had plenty of snacks for the tripSo we munched on fruit crackers and chips all the way there !!
We made good time and arrived by 11:30a.m I snapped a pix of the Crystal Trees I doubt it does them justice as they were beautiful

First stop was of course Lunch as this is of utmost importance !!The capitol building has plenty of restaurants and prices but most of them settled for MacDonalds I found some chinese food and Deb found a Rueben !! So with full bellies we ventured on to Security
Now try getting 12 to understand that the metal detector detects belts, bracelots etc was quite a feat But eventually we were declared non Terrorists and let thru

We found an open forum and some of the guys decided to "FORUM"!!!

They were very polite and funny, one ended his spiel with" AMEN"
It was then time to find our Senator or his aide , which we did and 11 of our guys and myself went into her office .

This is in her office as she is handing them each her card

They were all VERY polite and Thanked her for seeing them and lobbyed on the negative aspects of medicaid cuts to their programs and the lack of supervised appartments for those wishing to live on their own, they mentioned how the current cuts had affected them and politely asked that no more cuts be made !!I was sooooooo proud of them!!
Then we looked around a couple of museums there , We were looking for the 9/11 exhibit and they were all fascinated by it and surprised me with how much they knew about it !!
It was now time to leave so we once again boarded the bus and headed back !!Watched the latest Superman Movie and stopped for supper near Syracuse . I thought Albany prices were bad these were ridiculous , but all got fed and we wereoff again !!Arrived back in Buffalo about 10:45pm and arrived safely in the Falls by 11:30pm

Whew it was along but rewarding day!!

No I behaved this time !!!!

Hi Rosie
I usually do more lurking than posting, but decided this is a good day to come out of hiding to say ..... Happy Birthday!! Still have to go back and read everything, but from what I’ve read so far, your plans sound terrific! What a great way to start a Disney trip – arrive a day earlier, limo service – what an awesome surprise for the kids. I read enough to ask this question – will the limo have a hot Italian driver??
