BUT Jane is a conniving you know what and constantly tells him what to do whispers so he can't hear etc just looking to tick him off and then she claims INNOCENCE!! Well she did it again this lunch time and Senior staff intervened and had him sit down and told him NO MORE yelling Not another word !! He appeared calm and we heard nothing till Jane lets out a Blood curdeling yell !!We rush over to see and Joe had hurled the phone at her I looked at the senior staff and said "He didn't say a word " We were rolling !!!

Okay, first I wanna know what Fersensporn directly translates into if I missed it and as soon as I read this I was gonna make a porn comment... I will wait on the translation though...

Isn't it fun how English is using these scientific sounding Latin names for illnesses which have plain names in German? Like the plantar fasciitis which comes up here on the DIS again and again - it's called Fersensporn in German...



I thought it might cheer you up a little bit! And it looks like some other people were amused by it as well!

-ung is a very commom suffix in German, mainly used to make a verb into a noun.

Yes, it means plantar fasciitis, however Danny is not so wrong when asking about a "direct" translation!

It is a compund word (the German language loves those!) made up from Ferse and Sporn. Ferse means heel (but only the heel of your foot, not the one on your shoe) and Sporn means spur. It can also be called heel spur in English, which then is a direct translation, according to this Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calcaneal_spur
