Got up about 7.30am today and quickly showered and dressed as we were able to skip breakfast as we were having it in Fantasyland later. We were in the park again for 8am and did Dumbo several times, the Carousel, Peter Pan about 3 times and Pinnochio.
We then had our breakfast in the Marioette place. It was very busy but the food was filled up quickly and was nice.
We then rushed over to the Frontierland entrance so we could get straight on Thunder Mountain. We ran as soon as the rope was dropped and got really close to the front of the queue today! Yet again the ride was brilliant. As soon as we came off we got a fastpass for 11:15am. We walked back to the top of Main Street and managed to catch the Character Express. DH helped DD to get autographs and photos with Stitch, Tweedle Dum and Jessie from Toy Story. DD still hated all the pushing and shoving but we stood behind her saying dont worry, you will get your turn because you are waiting patiently and not pushing and sure enough almost every time the characters came straight to her as they could hear us.
We then went over to Woodys Round Up to see which characters were about and Goofy was there so DD had her picture with him. This was a nice quiet spot for character spotting!
It was now time to ride Thunder Mountain again.
Afterwards DH said he would love to do Crushs Coaster again before we left and should we try child swap. DD then said that if we really wanted to do it again, she would! I thought this was really brave as I dont think I could have gone back on a ride I hated! Anyway, we went over to the Studios and there was a 2 hour wait and all the fast passes had run out so we decided to come back early the next day.
As it was now lunchtime we decided it may be quicker to get lunch at McDonalds. 40 minutes later DH was still in the queue! Once eaten we made our way back over to the Disneyland Park. As we walked through Fantasyland there were several characters our and we saw Pinnochio, Rabbit and Piglet.
We then rode Buzz Lightyear again
We then got in the queue for Legend of the Lion King! This was on my must-do list and I was not disappointed. It was a great show!
We then rushed back to the hotel to freshen up and get changed and then rushed back so that we could get a good spot for the parade. We had a reservation at the Lucky Nugget Saloon for 8pm so knew we would need to dash down the arcade as soon as the parade finished.
On the way DH had a go on the Bucking Broncho!!
Once back on main street I nipped off and got DD some cookies and we sat on the pavement outside City Hall to watch. We had a much better view than on Tuesday night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We made it to the Lucky Nugget bang on 8pm! There was a but if a squash and a wait for the table but it was fine.
Once seated we were shown the buffet and took it in turns to go up. Worried that if we all went we would miss a Character!
The food was plentiful and of good quality, but again it plays such a small part of why we were there! Yet again, the characters made a real fuss of DD and we ended up staying in here for a couple of hours! Goofy kept calling to her from the other side of the restaurant, pointing to her and then to his heart! It was lovely, and she of course revelled in it!
We left before Fantillusion as although we wanted to see it again we wanted to be up early so that we could load the cases into the car, have breakfast and still make Early Magic Hours.
We had a nice stroll back through the Disney Village.
We dropped into bed about 10.30pm exhausted after another lovely day.
