Sweet 16 Birthday Dinner

My parents surprised me with my mom taking me to Disney for my 16th birthday in July so I'm already planning. Where should we have dinner on my birthday? I was thinking California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhouse, or Narcoossee but I'm not sure which to pick.

They are all good restaurants. Why not just look at the menus and pick the one that appeals to you most?

When we let our daughter pick a restaurant for her 16th birthday she chose California Grill. It just seemed more special to her than any other place.

For a 16th birthday, California Grill seems like a good option. Book your ADR so you can watch Wishes from there and it sounds like a perfect way to celebrate a big birthday!

Where would you like to go?

I, personally, would choose T-Rex. So it's really up to you. Like PP suggested, look at the menu and some pictures of the restaurant and see what appeals to you personally.

My 16 year old chose Shula's to celebrate her birthday last Nov and it was wonderful. From your list foodwise I'd go with Narcoossee's, 2nd choice Yachtsman - I wasn't super impressed with the food on our last visit to CG in April. You can watch the fireworks from Narcoossee's as well.

I've narrowed it down to Narcoossee or CG. Since I'll only be there for 2 nights I really want to see the parade and the fireworks from inside MK so the reservation would be early. I like the menu for both and because their locations are similar I'm having a hard time deciding.

Okay, here's my opinion - I've been to both many times. The main draw of CG is the view to watch the fireworks and have a nice dinner. Since you want to see the fireworks in the park I would go with Narcoosee's. Here are a few other reasons : ) - You can take the boat launch straight over to Narcoossee's from MK, it's a nice ride. You can then stroll thru the GF if you want and ride back to MK on the monorail. You can take some lovely pictures to document your big bday at the GF. This way you are also minimizing your travel times. The boat's 1st stop is GF and the monorail's first stop is MK. If you go with CG you'll have to ride the monorail back to MK thru 3 extra stops from the contemporary or I guess you can walk although I've never done that.

Just my 2 cents PLUS if you like steak I promise you it is better at Narcoosee's.
