SWDAS - carry on light saber?

I‘m booked on the 2/19 Fantasy cruise. Do people carry on light sabers? It won’t fit in my checked bag. I have a carrying case from Galaxy’s Edge that I could sling over my shoulder but wasn’t sure that was allowed.

There is some conflicting info, but people have reported being able to bring theirs onboard. Worst case, they will hold it for you until the end of the cruise and you can pick it up upon debarking.
