Swapping Magic Bands within a group- is this possible?

So, DH and I have been talking about our priorities for our FP+ options.

I would really like to meet Rapunzel, and if I can swing a FP+ for Anna and Elsa as well, that would be great. DH has no interest in either of these meet and greets, but he knows I'd love to do them.

Could we book a FP+ for one of us for Rapunzel, and the other of us for Anna and Elsa (subject to availability, obviously), and then swap magic bands, so I use both of them? I don't know if they name check, and I'm quite obviously not a Philip!

Does anyone know if this is possible? Or how easy it is to do on MDE?

Yes you can. As long as there is a fastpass they don't care whose name it is under.

With MDE this is possible (each party member can have different FP+) it just takes some playing around. If you haven't gone through the FP+ processes, you just have to get in there to see what I mean. It's not as straight-forward as you would think to book them.

I have read multiple times on this board that this works ONLY if your CM doesn't care when your (male) name pops up, which most likely they won't. Most everyone this has worked for, but I read one story where the CM didn't let them in.

I think the bottom line is: It's a gamble, odds in your favor.

I plan to try this to get on 7DMT twice (I want to ride, sister doesn't, and she doesn't want to ride anything alone in place of it, so I can use hers), but we are both female with female names so I'm thinking I will have no problem.

Technically it does say in the fine print that MB's are non-transferrable. But like others have said, most of the time the CM's don't care.

We did it last fall with no problems. DH doesn't like Tower of Terror, but I had booked us both a FPP, so I rode once with mine, got off, traded bands with him and went on again.
