Swan to MK?

We would like to be at the MK at 20 till 9:00 for a 9:00 opening time. When do the buses start running from the Swan and what time should we be on one? Thanks! ( Would the same times hold true for AK also?)

You might get more responses if you post this on the Resort or Theme Park Attraction/Strategy forum since probably more people read those forums. You can also look on allears.net under planning, then transportation for some tips. When we stayed in the Swan in 2004, I remember that we shared a bus with the Dolphin, BW, BC, & YC & that the Swan is picked up first & dropped off first. Transportation begins 1 hr before park opening. Since you are eligible for EMH staying at the Swan, if a park is opening at 8 am instead of 9am, technically, you could be waiting for a bus at 7am, but you may want to check a bus schedule directly with the Swan. You could call & ask to speak with someone at the concierge desk. Hope this helps

There is no way to be there exactly at 8:40 but if that is the time you hope to be there I suggest heading to the bus stop at 8am. The Swan shares a bus with Dolphin, Boardwalk and sometimes YC/BC so there a few stops to make during a run to the MK. 8am will give you a good chance at being there near the time you hope to just make sure the day you pick is not EMH as thent he park opening time would be 8am not 9am..

I absolutely agree with being at the bus stop around 8am. As noted, make sure it is not an EMH morning otherwise you will be arrive after opening. Last June the Boardwalk shared with the Swan and Dolphin for the MK and AK. The DTD bus also shared with the Yacht Club and Beach Club.
It's a good idea to get to all the parks before opening. You can get a lot done in a few hours before the really big crowds arrive later in the morning.
I suggest 8am also for the Animal Kingdom for a 9am opening.
