Swan pool/slide question

Have my heart set on a Beach Club visit this summer but my wallet is giving me lip. That said, a few of the reasons I wanted to try BC was it's proximity to Epcot and the pool for my kids (will be 10 and 7 for time of trip). I don't know if I can realistically do BC (a pin would help...) but I can do a good teachers rate at Swan and swing it if necessary. I've never heard much about the Swan's pool. My kids really like CSR's pool and slide---is it the same caliber or maybe slightly better?

My kids have stayed at CSR & while they love that pool, they always ask to go back to The Grotto Pool at Swan/Dolphin! Now of course they will be spoiled by SAB at BC on our March trip, but like you said, sometimes the cost of BC vs. S/D is a no-brainer (esp with a teacher discount!). You will love the location of S/D.

The main pool area at the Swan/Dolphin is really nice. I can't imagine any kid not loving it.

I love the pool at the S/D...one of my favorites in WDW.

Swan/Dolphin pools are nice, but can't compare to SAB at BC.

You can see from my signature that we have stayed at the Dolphin, once, & have never returned. We will be staying at BCV for our 6th consecutive summer next July. My kids love it there. Our entire family does.

When in the summer are you going? There is a general public discount good through 6/14 for 30% off which is what I'm using to stay at the BC in June (if it wasn't for the discount, there is no way I'd spend the rack-rate to stay there). I can't really compare the CSR pool since it has been years since I've stayed there (and it was before kids), but my kids really enjoyed the grotto pool and slide at the S/D.
