Swan or Dolphin?

Hi everyone,

Can someone help us figure out what the major difference is between the Swan and the Dolphin and which of the two hotels are better?

The Swan has queen beds to the Dolphins double beds. The Swan has 360 sq. ft. rooms to the Dolphins 380 sq. ft. rooms. Right now both are undergoing renovations, and the Swan will be done first. They are getting "Heavenly" make-overs, with new beds, linens, artwork, and a softer decor. As to which one is better, you wouldn't know the difference except for the beds and room size of each resort. These are sisters, and while they're not twins, they are a lot alike.

I hope when we go in Dec (we'll be at the Dolphin), the renovations would be done! Or if not, at least it won't be too distracting!

Do you know which floors are dedicated to smoking rooms? (Or is it different from Disney resorts)? It'll be our honeymoon and we wanted a nicer room, but we're smokers, sometimes we run into problems because of that. Any info is appreciated!

I have read in a couple Disney books that the Dolphin has queen beds. I got my confirmation for the Dolphin yesterday and it said queen beds, so I am confused. Is it double or queen?

According to the Dolphin front desk, they have double and king sized beds only. Only the Swan has queen beds. As to the smoking rooms, there is one floor at each hotel that is smoking, but the specialist I was speaking with did not know what floor at each hotel was designated for smoking.





Before anyone thinks I'm a total freak, I was inquiring about a wedding party this morning, and I thought I asked about these questions while I was on with them.
