Thanks Debbie. It is listed as silver but when I test drove it yesterday I could have sworn it was gold - I think it just depends on how the sun is shining down on it. (or else I was color blind yesterday)

it's way too quiet at my place when DH goes away...i have another night to get through...he comes home tomorrow night!

nothing really exciting to report here. just another boring day...

ok, this may be a weird question...does anyone get "floaters" in their eyes? it's like this kaleidoscope thingy that hovers in your eye for awhile...there's nothing actually there, but it still hinders your vision a little...am i the only one?? (now that ya'll think i'm weird! )

Brandie - There are some days when I cannot see my computer screen for all the floaters. When my uncle was diagnosed with macular degeneration a few years back, I totally freaked out. My opthamologist assures me that my eyes are fine.

I once heard (urban legend???) that first-born children have more floaters than their younger sibilings. Something about being the first womb resident. I don't know whether or not to believe it, and my floaters are bad enough today that I don't feel like checking snopes.com either.

I finally slid in... Had a team project for school to work on tonight, then lots of reading to do. Mid-Terms are next week and I'm still trying to catch up fro week one!

I just keep telling myself--next quarter will be easier (cause I'll be there from day 1)

I did just see Clay Aiken on GMA he was real

My sons just played their last regular season soccer game last night....they tied but it was a good game. Michaels last since he is a senior. They do still have the play offs to go

and thank goodness i am not the only one who sees the floater thingies! i don't get them very often, but when i do, i can't see anything! it drives me crazy!!

according to the schedule online for our house, they've installed the doors...i'll have to go out to take a few pictures of our beautiful doors!!

Welcome to the DIS cynbare!

Well, guess what...I won the office world series pool ($25) for last night's game. (Put a quarter on a couple of squares). So SOMETHING decent came out of a win by the Y..Ya..Yank..(cough cough cough), well out of the final score No Miss Cookie, I still can't even say it
In any event, my high school is establishing a hockey scholarship in memory of my friend who died last week, so I am going to add my winnings to what I'd planned to donate anyway and that will make me feel better about the actual outcome of the game too
