BoobGate! too funny Cookie! What do they (the organizers) expect on an MTV produced show? I thought the whole halftime show was horrible, so I wasn't watching at that point. JJ and JT and MTV are getting what they wanted ...publicity. I guess the FCC is investigating....I do think it was totally inappropriate and I DON'T believe for a second it was an "accident" puh-leez...the costume was designed to rip off. Those responsible probably won't suffer any meaningful consequences anyway.....just another media-driven thing. I'm sick of hearing about it it already.

went snowboarding last night and did the RAIL......can you believe it.....well anyways ...she fell and bruised her wrist quite bad.....they thought it was broken at the doctors office and also at the hospital....but it isn't.......she is in a sling and it is all swollen and black and blue already......
some guy at high school.....said to her.....oh wayyyyy cool.....you hurt your wrist doing the Rail.......way to go
well she was very impressed with this.....hahaha

I didn't hear about your governor... but my stepdaughter (the newly pregnant one ) had a near miss on the way to work this morning, with Mady in the car too....a car coming the other way spun out (it was messy from snow overnight) and flipped over, she said it was coming right for her...she could see the whole underside and all four tires right in front of her...she had no where to go but somehow the thing flipped again towards the middle and she slid by on the shoulder. Glad the guardian angels were there!!!

I am trying Ann, the last couple of days have been beautiful! Rain is suppose to start again on Friday. We are getting another "cold" front. This is why Floridians are sick.....we are suppose to have a high of 80 tomorrow (Thrus) and the high for Saturday will be in the low 60's. It's crazy!!!

well if you were to look in the win/loss column...not to well but the season has been OK. Justin actually got to start in has last JV game....which was good considering he wasn't playing much before that. He did pretty good and and the coach told him he outplayed the usual starter...who flunked off the team. Mike is doing fine too

this medication the doctor has me on (you know...for the baby stuff ) has got me so incredibly irritable. the sounds of my co-worker's voice is driving me up the freaking wall! one more day of this stuff...i certainly hope this irritability goes away!! poor matthew's probably hoping so too! he sure gets an earful when i pick him up after work...

oh heavens...i wish i had your weather forecast!! here's ours...our highs should vary between 26 and 34 degrees...lows will be 15 to 31 degrees and we are under a winter weather advisory for the next few days! snow and ice are on it's way...blech...our street is one solid sheet of ice. they plow the snow, but i guess we aren't good enough for salt to melt the ice...lol

we are trying to adopt a puppy!! she is the most adorable little thing...i found her on www.petfinder.com and her name is jasmine. is she not the most adorable little thing?

we haven't gotten to see her face to face yet though. she's part of a big litter so if she's already spoken for by the time we get there on saturday, we're still hoping for one of the other pups. she's a black lab/rottweiler mix. i e-mailed the people about her yesterday and they suggested that i submit an adoption application as soon as possible in case there are others interested in her. they will then send her home with the first family they received the application from, assuming they are a good match for the puppy. they will be at our local petsmart on saturday at noon. i told matthew we will be there at 11:30! the cat is so gonna hate us...

there will never be another clay...but there is some good talent! i really like the gal with pink hair...amy i think...she's in matthew's prediction for the top 3. i also like the 16 year old gal who always wears pink and black..i think her name's dina...i was so happy to see that schmuck go home last night. he sang unchained melody at his audition, but last night...he was just an idgit...telling the judges that they've seen what he can do...well duh! they've seen what every other contestant can do too!! that's why they're all there!!!! ugh...

i'm just going to hide at my desk as best as i can today so i don't rip anyone's head off...guess i'll clean my desk...that should keep me entertained for awhile...

OK, you AI people.....none of those guys are really standing out to me...except maybe the 16 yr old redhead ...only cuz he keeps messing up his words and looking petrified but they kept him anyway decent voice I guess. I like one of the black guys...the thin one who wore a funny cap in the group song...Of the ladies.....I WANTED SCOOTER GIRL AND THEY CUT HER!!! what's up with that? And one of the black gilrs...short hair w/a colored streak - she sang a great solo..... also like that cute girl w/the short blonde hair who was in the first group song that was so good!

our adoption application was approved!! we get to adopt Jasmine!!!!

they still have to do a home visit...just to make sure that we are prepared for her...so we'll be spending some money at PetsMart tonight/tomorrow!! woo hoo!! this totally brightened up my day!
