we've finally dug ourselves out of this nasty snowstorm here. but there's a layer of ice on top of the old snow...our neighborhood is like one giant ice rink with some houses stuck in there!

No school here today ....which works me....3 kids only
not really that much snow though....just that its still coming down lightly and needs to be cleaned up.
yea Brandi...someone should tell the snow to fall only on the trees and houses and yards and to avoid the streets and sidewalks
maybe we could run heaters under the streets and sidewalks...then when it snows we could turn them on and let them just melt

TC......I am going to try driving down to WDW one of these days I don't think I would mind it at all

I've been watching AI too....they do start out with a lot of hilarious people....don't they??? I like the show better when they start having 10 people a week sing and the voting results the next day.

Ooh. Ooh. I know the answer to who the people in Glo's new siggie are. The photo is from her recent trip to Las Vegas to celebrate her **th birthday. The people are:

PatrickIL, Glo, Glo's DH Phil, and Patrick's DW Ellen.

I had an interesting drive to work this morning. Right after I passed the snow plow/salt truck, I noticed that my car seemed a bit "loose" on the road. The next thing I know, I came upon about half a dozen cars that had spun out. I hit my brakes and started praying. My anti-lock brakes did the job, but I kept praying because there was a pickup truck in my rear view mirror and it appeared that he did NOT have anti-lock brakes. Fortunately for me, he did manage to slow down and avoid hitting me. It didn't appear that there were any injuries among the smashed cars. Those of us who weren't involved in the accident threaded our way through the disabled cars. Yikes. I've had enough winter, thank you very much.

Be careful out there!!!

its me......been a long long longgggggggggggg week.....hopefully the world can get back to normal.......no we didn't get any of that dreaded white stuff.....but they are saying not to think of the dirty ground as anything to get used to........snow is on its way......but heck.....they could make a mistake.......I got some photos from my niece in upstate NY and they are getting that lake effect snow....over five feet in a few weeks.......it just goes around and around and around.........oh yah HEY GUYSSSSSSSSSSS.....guess what I did

sent in my order for hot rice crackers and my favorite restaurant chinese tea......it should be here in TWOOOOOOOOOO or threeeeeeeee weeks......I know......I got plenty of red tootsie roll pops to keep me going until the good stuff arrives......
