oh I also met the elusive Mr. SwanDolphin there, and also some other character with big feet and yellow hair or sumpin' . He used to post here.

I really miss Mr SwanDolphin--such a nice man. I remember the very first time I got a PM from him. Didn't know who he was...had never even heard of him, much less did I know who he was. He was only posting on the resorts board and I hadn't been there in a long time. Then, I wandered over ther one day and answered a question about the Swan---and how much we had loved staying there, but, mentioned we had ressies to stay off-site on our upcoming trip cause there were 6 of us and I couldn't afford two rooms. Next thing I knew we were back at the Swan.
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Couldn't believe our luck. And, in the years since, I still can't believe how lucky I've been to get to know him. He really is one of the nicest people I've ever met. And, cause of him, I got to meet the rest of the cheerleaders...
More of the nicest people I've ever met.

'Bout that other guy--you know--the one with the big feet and yellow hair---he's just strange. I miss him, too, though...

Hi guys

We went apple and pumpkin picking this weekend - it was a first for all three of us. Beautiful day, lots of walking around, and lots of fun. I highly recommend it. :teeth:

Just doing a drive-by for now. :moped: Duty calls.

ditto....cuz I couldn't have said it better :D

too the flying yellow guy.....WORD!

Brandie....my DH has to travel occasionally and I hate it too!

Marie....I need a S/D vacation too ::yes::

I love apple picking too Gail .....and the best apple of the year is the one you eat right off the tree while you're still picking......and now that you've mentioned it I'm going to go get me an apple

Gail, was that really the first time you went apple/pumpkin picking?? :earseek: Fall ritual for us...that we haven't sone the last 2 years here  It is a lot of fun, especially when the weather cooperates :)

Ah yes, Mr SwanDolphin....DH did not really believe he was for real...until we checked in on our first trip early 2001 ;)

Bob Bob Bob.... we do love you!!!

Still not understanding this "word" thing  I guess I should ask DD??

TIme to take some sort of sedative after that Sox game. I have to tell you...Debbie - you and Jerry may remember 1967 ;) - and the "Impossible Dream" season...well, I started singing that song tonight when they were down 6-4...and they kept scoring...I would start to sing when they were at bat and the runs kept coming  DH was tellign me to "SING!! SING!!" for the first time in our almost-10 year marriage!!!

:hyper:

Gail, was that really the first time you went apple/pumpkin picking??

I've never done either. I have been to a farm where the pumkins are already picked for you and you just wandered around and picked out the ones you want.
Hmmm..that sounds almost like a grocery store or sumpin'...

Ah yes, Mr SwanDolphin....DH did not really believe he was for real...until we checked in on our first trip early 2001

Mike was the same way. "Susie--who is this guy?? Are you sure we have rooms? Is this legit? Is this gonna get anybody in trouble?" ad nauseum. I keep telling him sometimes you just have to have faith.

Bob Bob Bob.... we do love you!!!

Word.

Word--kinda like yep, that's right. or That's the right thing. It's kind of like you're agreeing....sorta.

*opens the door slowly and peeks her head inside*

everything looks the same - it sure is quiet right now.

*flings the door open and yells at the top of her lungs Honey, I'm home!!

Do you all remember me? *hangs her head very low* Sorry I have not made more appearances here - I just really have not been on the DIS nor the computer a whole bunch. I know, excuses excuses!

I hope all of you are ready for fall - I wish I could see those fall colors that you have spoken of - man one day I hope to.

Been watching the baseball games, routing for the Sox & Cubbies.

Work is going good - the manager of the call center (where I used to work) wants me to put in for the supervisors postion that is open - it is on 2nd shift and I would be the boss of people I used to work for but I think I am going to turn it down. My boss now does not want me to go and my old boss wants me to come back - it feels nice to be wanted but in the long run I think I could advance ALOT further with the company if I stay in my current position.

So not much else is new here. I am going to Disney in November for the Super Soap Weekend again, cant wait for that.

Hope to see some familiar faces soon - hint hint. :)

So what is new with all of you? I spent the last hour reading through the last several pages. Debbie, let me know how you like your Malibu. If/when I get a new car that is what I want!

Ok, enough rambling/babbling on my part...... :)

oh wait, Brandie - the house is coming along congrats!!

Oh and I want to send out lots of {{{hugs}}} and good thoughts to those that need it!!

Sue - I hope you feel better and the medicine works for you.

I love ya guys and am glad to have met some wonderful people!!

enjoy SSW christine!! i watch AMC but i'm not sure i'd want to fight the mobs to see anyone there...you're a brave soul!!

Hello cheerleaders one and all!

And Christine, we'll be at WDW during Super Soap weekend too, staying at the Boardwalk Villas. I can't wait to get away, work has been extremely demanding. (PD to you for your job, it's always nice to be appreciated). And since we'll see our DD and DGD's that makes it even more special!

Hi Gail, we've never been pumpkin picking, but Milo and I went with my folks to cut down a Christmas tree one year while dating, and I still remember being embarassed because Mom made me wear old-fashioned rubber boots, zip up the front with fur on top. LOL But it was great fun.

Have a great week everyone!

Lora

yes Ann I do remember the 67 Sox...I was quite young...in fact that was my very first year getting into baseball. I can thank my Dad for that....not much else.....but my love of the Sox came from him.
Thats funny about the singing....I actually couldn't take the stress of the game so I got up and left down the road to the ATM. Only took 5 minutes....when I got back the Sox had started some good things going so Jerry and Mike told me to go back to the bank  Anyway I sat down to watch and bad things would happen so I left the room and good things would happen so I had to stay in the other room  but I did keep peaking ;)

Did you see the picture of the new 2004 malibu's Christine......they are beautiful...much changed from the older version...... I don't have mine yet....we had to order it cuz they aren't even out yet....up here anyway. We found one malibu LT and drove it but it was blue and mine has to be red :teeth:
so we ordered it

I feel bad for the cubs...unless they have come back since I turned off my TV. I really wanted a Red Sox...Cubs World Series

hey Ann
WORD ;)

morning, me again. :)

Hi Sue, buzzzzzz to you.

Brandie - I went last year and it was not too terribly bad but Ryan (Cameron Mathison) will be there this year as well as Jax from GH so I am sure there will be alot more screaming drooling girls there!

Mrs Milo - thats cool, who knows, I may run into you. Will be at MGM both Sat & Sun, not sure what I am doing Friday and going home Monday.

Debbie - no, I have not seen the newer models, got a link or a picture? I have been looking around because my car is 10 years old and I am not sure how much longer it will last me, so I want to go from a Cavalier to a Malibu.

Is it Friday yet? Oh I am going to AK this Saturday, just for a day trip with a couple of friends. The weather is nice here so it should be a great weekend. Gotta run now, talk to you all later.

 :sunny: :wave2:

Good morning everyone. I'm sad about the Cubbies, was hoping for a Sox Cubs WS too . But that Sox game, what a roller coaster, my heart can't take it! Before he left for work, DH said "Rest your voice today, you need to sing tonight" LOL
Too funny about having to go to the bank and the other room Debbie! I was quite annoyed at my sister for washing her Red Sox shirt after a win...then they lost the next one
hehehehehe

Christine!! so nice to see your posts and hear all your news. Good luck with the job decision...keep your happiness/job satisfaction in mind....it IS a nice feelign to be valued by yoru employer. ( I miss that lately  )
Of course you HAD to come rub it in that you are going to our favorite place soome ;)

Brandie---that is going up fast! Very nice!

Mrs Milo- thanks for that story about the Xmas tree picking date...now I will use it as ammo to tell DD how to dress once in awhile ;) :teeth:

Have a great day everyone...remember to sing with me tonight!
