Gee, guys, sorry about your baseball team. I have no idea what happened, who won (Just found out who's even playing!) or anything.

I did start classes. The problem is, we (those of us from Norton Healthcare) started 2 weeks after everyone else so we have a lot of catching up to do.

I have English caught up (I hope) now. In Algebra (YUCK!), I have completed 4 of the 6 homework assignments, with most the required reading (5 chapters, so far)done. I am getting ready to start the next homework and hope to have it finished in about an hour. There was a test due in that class today, too, but, she just posted that she has delayed it cause of us late join-ees + a lot of people were having a problem getting the downloads and plug-ins to work, so, could not get to their tests and homework, etc.

In A&P, I have reading to do (3 chapters), but, since the first 2 are on the blood and heart (Whoa---guess what I do??? I'm a nurse on a cardiac unit--that might help!), that can wait until later tonight or even tomorrow....

This is what I have spent the majority of my week-end on. Hopefully, after I have every thing caught up, it won't seem so overwhelming...

Well--back to work!

Hello cheerleaders. PD to Sue, I've never heard of TN before but hope you can get some relief.

We went to a DIS meet this weekend here at the mall and met alot of nice DIS'ers. It's always fun to get together with fellow Disney fans and talk shop!

A DIS meet?? In all of the years I've been hanging around these boards, I've never been to a DIS meet, except the Cherleader ones.

Well, unless you count the one where I met Gail for the first time, before the cheerleaders were formed. I think there was someone else there, but I don't remember who it was.

nothing exciting happening around here...

i had a virus warning pop up on my work computer this morning! but it had already been quarantined so no harm done...

i've been to 2 DIS meets...sort of. one was whole we were at WDW last year. we met for an illuminations cruise. and then i attended one here in indy. i got to meet dan murphy, serena, and helenabear... my goal is for a cheerleader meet sometime in the future!!!!

Hi honey(s) I'm home!!!

Oh, and Sue??? Let me tell you about my lovely sojourn with my smart and special DD! The autumn foliage was SPECTACULAR as our sedan cruised through up the highway from the Granite State to the Green Mountain State. I simply could not abide to have simply green scenery for our mother/daughter day of bonding, so the powers that be arranged for the colors to be at their peak. It was simply breathtaking ...the hillsides with their hues of autumn: red, orange and yellow. The sun glinted off the mountain streams and lakes and the vibrant green hillsides were dotted with black and white cows. We were not impressed with the dining facilities at the institution of higher learning that we visited, and instead enjoyed an early afternoon repast at a quaint bistro near the waterfront of this small yet energetic university town.
How's that?? Better be enough, I'm tired

Oh and what do you mean by "word" ???


OH, and I saw a car with VT tags that I just might see if it's available in NH: OHBOTHR (like Eyeore says! ) I have and Eyeore cell phone case with him and his black cloud over him with those words on it (got that at the first c/l meet

sorry I was away yesterday....but nice to know I was missed.........
actually i was at the dentist first.... then I went for a long walk...the foliage was beautiful.
One Columbus day weekend we went up to the White Mountains but peak color had passed. And the traffic going up there was horrible...took us 6 hours to drive what usually takes 3 1/2 to 4 hours.

The only meets I have been to are cheerleader one too

I am so tired......went to the boonies early Sunday and got home last night....stayed with my sister - her two daughters....the two daughters babies and me......at a remote camp......moose were there.....yesterday went with the "girls" and got lost for three hours driving on the logging roads ..we were starting to run out of gas.....less then a quarter of a tank.....finally found a group of moose hunters and they told us how to get out......but an hour later.... so we found another group and the elderly gent and his wife said to follow them......we drove another twenty miles and they pulled over and said to keep going down the road and we would get to the main drag......finally another 20 minutes we were out....my husband....son and grandson are still up in the wild of maine.....I hate to be alone in the city .....well I just realized that I would hate to be out in the woods alone worse......hope you all had a good weekend

we have a 2nd floor to our house now!! and i think that they are working on the roof today...but my poor little house is getting rained on!!

matthew left me...sigh...he should be back late, late tomorrow night though! his boss picked him up this morning and will be bringing him home for me so that i don't have to make the trip to the airport! i guess his boss lives very nearby...anyway, he left at about 4:30am. i went back to bed for a bit and then got up, got ready for work, started a load of dishes in the dishwasher, and came to work. all by myself...how sad...and then i have to go home to an empty apartment, save for a fat cat...and sleep in an empty bed...have i mentioned that i hate being alone?

there is a special on the travel channel tonight about disneyland. if anyone has the channel it's at 8est/7cst...i think it's the series called secrets...

if anyone needs a good laugh, head over to the trip reports board and read the report by delswife. it's hysterical so far!!

Yes, Dan-I remember almost getting to meet. 'Course, first, my plane left Louisville late...then, sat on the ground at O'Hare for forever, while they tried to find a gate to park it at....
That planned 1 1/2 hr layover actually turned into a race to make my flight to Fla. That was for Cheerleader meet #2....

Marie and mooses..except for getting lost, sounds like a fun week-end.

Brandie, don't worry. Your house will get rained on many more times. And snowed on...and wind blown at it....

Debbie, Yes, I did miss you and I wasn't ashamed to say it right here on the internet for all the world to see. That's just the way I am. All for my friend Debbie.

Zachary called from Greenville maine .....way up in the boonies for those not familiar with Maine.....and he got his bull moose......700 plus pounds of moose.......they will drop it at the butchers and should be home tonight late.......it is a long drive.........yippee.....I can sleep with hubby tonight......I miss his back ya know....sort of got used to it after 36 years........see ya tomorrow my little chickadees

It is very VERY VERY creepy to get lost in the North Country logging roads. We did that some years back while using a friend's cabin in Pittsburgh NH...a few miles from the Canadian border. Well, DH insists we weren't lost but we were literally in the middle of nowhere...not even sure which country...miles and miles and miles of logging roads with no sign of civilization whatsoever. Freaked me out totally after 20 minutes or so I was saying "get me OUT of here".

My first DIS meet was April 2001 in Marlboro Mass at TGIFridays...I met MackeyMouse and Glo and PandyPaws and Cookie and CarolAnnK and NurseKim and a bunch more. Then in JULY JULY JULY JULY I went to the first c/l meet!! and met Debbie and Teri and Sue and Chrisine and Towncrier and BT and a bunch more....oh I also met the elusive Mr. SwanDolphin there, and also some other character with big feet and yellow hair or sumpin' . He used to post here.
