Swan check in

My family is staying at the Swan and they booked through an employee program. When logged into their disney account it shows that they're staying at the Swan but no button to do online check in. Animal Kingdom opens at 8am tomorrow. Do they have to check in to their hotel first or can we head to the park for extra morning hours first?

The Swan & the Dolphin are view only in MDE. You can't do an online check-in or modify these reservations using MDE.

But you should be able to check in on the Marriott Bonvoy app, up to 48 hours in advance.

I guess they can't check in with the app either since it was made with an employee program. We sucked it up and called. They told us that they don't need to check in anywhere before being able to use extra magic hours.

You may still check in with the Bonvoy app and receive a room ready notification, but the notification will tell you to head to the front desk so they can verify your associate rate or friends and family qualification form.
